Sounds are driving me nuts

Is there a way to shut off the alerts/notification or silence the app? Everyone you press a button or link, it will make a ridiculously loud alert/bleep and regardless of having the volume down, phone on vibrate, it will still excessively bleep upon every press of a command or link. Even if you refresh the page it still dings/bleeps. More people would probably use this app if it was so annoying. Everything else seems to be working fine. No way to put the app on silent.
