Busted app with no service
Within days of registering for the monthly subscription, the app broke and I can no longer log into it. The error message I get is clearly meant for developers and not users: “Whoops! An internal error has occurred, print and inspect the error details for more information.” I would have contacted their support people, but they made that very difficult to find. So instead they get a 1 star review. Maybe someone will contact me after seeing this review.

Invalid scan?
I thought this app would be really cool. It promised the ability to snap a pic of a wine list and then USE that information in a pairing. I downloaded the app and then attempted to scan two different wine lists in. First the camera feature defaults to automatic page recognition which is a fault since the edges are not easily registered. Second, one captured and attempted to be saved, two separate restaurant wine lists came back with “invalid scan, Corkdork only works with property formatted wine lists”. Unless I am doing something wrong, this is a fatal flaw for this app. No two restaurant wine lists will be the same and there is no ‘standard format’ for that information. My initial view is, thus, very pessimistic about this app. If I am doing something wrong and capturing wine lists is easier, please advise.

Finally a good wine app!
I love that this app helps me learn more about wine tasting and also saves my memories about bottles I’ve loved (or not loved). Bravo to the developers.
