One of the coolest games I have ever played
I can’t spoil why this game is so impressive, but trust me. It is an incredible game. I wouldn’t recommend it to most though, as it is a difficult game that demands your attention. It’s uncompromising like that.
The aesthetics aren’t pretty, but they get the job done. The gameplay is initially very simple, and the undo functionality is very much of it’s time in the sense that it’s not as forgiving as many other more recent puzzlers.
How is it still one of the collect games I have ever played?
Basically, without spoiling anything, this game does the impossible from a game design standpoint, and it does it well.
If you like puzzle games (especially sokoban-style games) then this is a must play. This is one of the most influential yet obscure games in the genre, so it’s worth checking out if you like these types of game.

Better than I initially thought
Tbh the sticky block pushing of the first half of the game almost drove me insane a few times; like, I wanted to break my phone in half. But the second half was really cool. I got stuck, but I actually managed to complete the game on a second run through, which was surprisingly easy-not exactly what I expected from this dev, but it was cathartic and satisfying. It’s hard not to be impressed that someone thought this thing up. I know I’m late to the party, but this thing absolutely still deserves to be played.

This game become quickly very challenging. It has a very interesting concept on the traditional box warehouse games that quickly makes this game mind shattering.

A moment where the world opens up
Corrypt starts off as a fun little puzzler--like Sokoban but you drag the blocks as well as push them--and turns into an open world puzzle game where you feel like you have total freedom... to solve the puzzles or wreck everything by accident. This sense of dizzying agency is something I've never experienced in a puzzle game. Usually I'm trying to suss out the "intended solution"--but here the level of power/accidental destruction introduced by the glitched tiles that transport items from screen to screen is almost scary and it feels like there's a lot of room for emergent gameplay choices. I played Imbroglio and 868-Hack and liked them well enough, but Corrypt immediately shot to the top of my all-time favorite game experiences.
I was initially turned off by the style of the graphics but please give it a shot. If you liked The Witness, Braid, and other game-changing puzzler experiences, you will love this.

You think it's impossible...
Because you've tried a million times to solve one of the puzzles. And then you put it down and pick it up again later and you finally figure it out. This cycle repeats itself over and over making this game infuriatingly difficult and incredibly gratifying.
Up for a challenge?
Like the designers other games, don't expect to be wowed by the graphics or interface. But in this simple package is a challenging puzzle game in the Sokoban genre. Magic was confusing at first - it freezes the tile in place, for every area, but gives the game a whole new layer of complexity. Still haven't come close to solving it.

Maddening, boring
The puzzles are laborious and frustrating. Some people might enjoy these kinds of challenges. Not me.
Amazing
Fun, very difficult, and surprisingly evocative. I felt worse about destroying these little mushroom people's world than I have about any other game's consequences. This game builds up your confidence and ego and pies you in the face with it.
Compelling but linear
Corrypt is a puzzle game that largely involves pushing and pulling boxes to trip switches, and manipulating or exploiting AI-controlled character movement patterns to get to your goal. With some light quest elements thrown in, this is a compelling but rather linear puzzle experience. It has Michael Brough's signature blend of intrigue and weirdness, but unfortunately lacks the replayability of most of his other titles. Get this if you really enjoy puzzle games and don't mind putting it away after you're finished. Otherwise, try Glitch Tank for a more replayable but more barebones puzzle/strategy hybrid, or try Zaga-33 or 868-HACK if you'd like a heavier focus on combat and some risk/reward in the mix.

Error, game broken
Love the game but ironically it crashes on the level "Error," when you try to go to the next room. Iphone 5 upgrade was amazing but the game is now broken!

Spectacular game (pretending to be an average one)
When I first started the title I thought it was just another dashed-off, so-so game, the kind the app store is full of. Something kept me at it, and soon I thought it was pretty interesting.

Excellent game. Couldn't put it down. Was stuck on five gems until a eureka moment. Brilliant game mechanics. Persevere with it and the game will reward you ten-fold.
