Hello this app is very basic by design, it simply tells you if your patron is 21 or not. The camera is set to a fixed focal length, if you hold the ID card at the correct distance it will scan the barcode in milliseconds. Once you get the hang of the correct distance to hold the ID at you should experience extremely fast scanning.

Scans lightning fast!

Works like a charm, better than any other ID app I've seen.
