Doesn’t work

“Fails connecting to server” so can’t be used.

Good but not up to date.

While this has all the options the final price of things in not up to date with what things cost now.

Fun game, but too many questions about paint color.

Wish there were more questions about the cars mechanics / style / history and less questions about paint color.

Good enough, but I wish ...

I like it. It’s useful for my needs.

But I would like to see more user control: like being able to turn off display of unselected car specifics when simply viewing a saved car; or being able to disable checking (and allowing selection and display of non-standard) options for a saved saved car.

That would allow the user to describe real cars that are not in ‘as delivered’ condition. “That 327/300 C2 has a 3:70 rear.”

I’m sure there are more possibilities.

Keeps locking UP

Okay but locks up all the time. Waste of time here.

Random thoughts

A very easy to use , complete pricing guide, chock full of information, everything necessary to price a corvette and any other information about number made , how many of this color, styles , ect , ect and the original cost ! I wish the other pricing guides were even a 1/4 as good as this site ! No comparison , they should be embarrassed really ! Great guide

How to Get an Accurate Valuation with CorvetteDNA

For those folks who are having a hard time getting the valuation engine to provide them with the present value of a Particular Corvette please take the time to read this review:

1st - Ensure that you choose the options that have PRESENT VALUE (reality or desirability) this can make a huge difference in the value of the car. If you don’t do this - the price will likely appear low. It is very important to do so...

2nd - Roll the CONDITION and the MILEAGE between the levels noted to again see the value change. When you have a Corvette that falls somewhere in between a condition take that into consideration and split the difference or lean more toward what condition it is closest to. Another Example is that a “Show Condition” car that was restored years ago or has been driven might come down a bit from the show value. That logic applies to any condition...

3rd - Recognize that this is not an exact science but it can get you pretty close. There are a lot or critics out there - but the price can also depend on your perspective. BUYERS will think the price is too high / where SELLERS will think the price is too low. Perhaps that is that is why CorvetteDNA tends to be somewhere in the middle :)

Needs a lot of work

Current value of options are inaccurately low and what makes cars more valuable is the rarity of options and the combination of rare option. This app doesn’t factor that in at all. From a Corvette valuation standpoint, the values this app comes up with don’t even come close. Needs tons of work to function legitimately. I’m sure many people in the Corvette world would love to see a version of this that actually works. Getting accurate sales info and cross-referencing that with the options on each car, original documentation, etc. seems to be a huge obstacle. Appreciate the attempt but much work is needed.

Response from developer

We appreciate the feedback. Make sure you are SELECTING THE OPTIONS that have present value as they will effect the price directly. If you are not doing so you will only see the base car price and that may appear low. The app does in fact take into account the rare / desirable options and combinations of same but you must select them from the option list for it to work. Additionally you need to roll the condition (and mileage where applicable) - that will also effect the value.

Incorrect Value

As a Corvette collector and someone that travels the US attending auctions, I priced one car and found the value wasn't even close. Use Hagerty's valuation tool for accurate values.

Response from developer

Hello, we strive to make our values as accurate as possible for most Corvettes by watching auctions, local sales, and other price trends. The reality is, one car at one auction does not make a trend, and can be over or under valued, or can also be highly customized as to affect the value. Owners can ask too much or little, sellers can pay too much in the heat of an auction or if some circumstance like celebrity ownership comes into play. If you see prices out of line we welcome you contacting us. Experience has shown our prices to be within 5% +/- of most sales, when all the options of a vehicle are known.

Great Corvette Appraising Companion

As a somewhat corvette newby, this app is great for figuring out the value of trims and options for the late model C6 I am looking at buying. Just select the options on a particular car and it shows you the relative value. If the values are accurate this is a must have for someone in the market for a used 'Vette.

Incorrect information on app

I looked up a 2008 Z06 and the app says the output is 430HP when it's 505HP. The app doesn't really give that much info.

what's going on

Update does not work

Awesome app, tells you just about anything you need to know about any year of Corvette, right down to the color codes.

CorvetteDNA

Won't connect to the database servers no matter
Where I try it from. Have reinstalled twice.

Fun and useful app

It’s not hugely flashy and doesn’t claim to do a lot, but it does what it claims to very well.

A must for an enthusiast!

This app has hit the nail on the head with the vast amount of information as well as a reliable source for any corvette guru. If you don't have this app yet you are completely missing out! Good job CorvetteDNA!
