I have taken 100% of the questions and I find they are redundant and missing lots and lots of questions from the test. The $100 purchase was not worth it, though if there were more questions it would be. In addition there are questions that when you click the right answer for it still says the answer is incorrect, then displays the correct answer (the one you clicked) anyways, then brings down your test average. The app had a good rating and I was recommended the app which is what made me make the full purchase, and I wish I had not.

This a great app to have but the cost of it is not fair to those who don’t have it financially and really want to learn I would recommend this app but most people are not going to pay monthly we would just study from the book

I studied cosmetology and now I have to pass the exam to verify my knowledge, which is obligatory if you want to work in a beauty sphere. There are some free/paid sources on the Internet, but I decided to try mobile apps.
The first thing that I've noticed is that the app has a very professional and appealing app design. I think everyone who works in a beauty sphere will agree with me that we pay a lot of attention to details. Secondly, I really liked that the app offers many clear and exam-like practice questions

Questions copied from free online flashcards/quizzes. Expensive.
Dishonest! Take any question in this app and put it into a Google search bar, making sure to put quotes around it to get an exact search. The first result is a free online quiz the question was copied from! This app copies from Quizlet, Chegg, StudyStack, Fatskills, Cram, Quia, etc. (mostly Quizlet).
I did this with over 60 questions, and I concluded that this app copied the questions from these free online quizzes/flashcards EXACTLY. They want to charge you $24.99/month for that.
The feedback on every question is "no explanation." I guess that's because there is no explanation in the quizzes they copied from. The developer has NO Cosmetology expertise so they have nothing to add to what they copied.
This app also claims a "98% pass rate" but offers no evidence to support that claim, or what it even means. It sounds like they are claiming that 98% of the app users have passed the state board exam. How would they track that? The app has only been on the market for a few months anyway, so the claim is meaningless.
The app store marketing says "1000+ questions". The app itself says "10000+ questions." They can't even get the number of questions in the app straight.
This is one of several new State Board apps in the app store with questions that are just cut-and-pasted from free online quizzes. Why pay anything for questions that you can get online for free?
