About

Your window is a spaceship. The universe is your destination. Leave the Milky Way behind, warp toward Earth, drift beside a deep-space probe, or watch sunlight emerge over a planetary horizon. Cosmivoy brings first-person space exploration to iPhone and iPad, with a continuous 3D universe and a timeline you can control. FLY ACROSS SCALES Travel between planets, stars and nearby galaxies without changing scenes. Warp to a selected object or a region of the window, approach and retreat, and orbit a target to discover it from a new angle. Adjust the field of view from a telescopic close-up to a surrounding 360-degree projection. LOOK AROUND NATURALLY Drag to orbit, use two fingers to look, move closer or farther away, and roll the horizon. Enable motion controls to look around by turning your device. Portrait and landscape layouts adapt to your iPhone or iPad, and the interface can be hidden for an unobstructed view. TAKE CONTROL OF TIME Pause, rewind or fast-forward the universe. Explore prepared observation sites, replay historical spacecraft trajectories from several viewpoints, and take over the flight whenever you like. Record your own journeys and revisit them later. GET CLOSER Explore planetary surfaces, clouds, thin atmospheric light, ring systems, satellites and spacecraft reference models. Land on supported rocky worlds and drive across the surface. Inspect an object, read its encyclopedia entry, and follow links to its public sources. Switch labels, orbit lines and satellite visibility independently; optional fill light reveals details on dark surfaces. BUILT FOR CURIOSITY An offline catalog includes more than 100,000 stars, the major Solar System bodies, selected galaxies, thousands of satellites and small bodies, and reference trajectories for deep-space missions including Webb and the Voyager probes. Core exploration works without an account or network connection. Optional satellite orbit updates require internet access. Explore with a localized interface and offline encyclopedia in 14 language options. No ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Cosmivoy combines public astronomical data with visual simulation. Coverage and accuracy depend on the source and date; some shapes, attitudes and galaxy structures are illustrative. Cloud maps do not show live weather. Warp is a science-fiction effect. This app is for exploration and learning, not operational navigation or prediction.

What's New in Cosmivoy

0.2.2

September 27, 2026

Spacecraft paths now show the full bundled journey in both the main view and replay. Offline detail levels preserve the original route when zooming, without turning short source gaps into missing days or weeks. Positions, velocities and documented data limits are unchanged. The route overview also stays fixed when scrubbing time, instead of drifting with the spacecraft. Reduced storage use with lossless resource packing and more efficient mission data. Model materials now load on demand, and a bounded model cache keeps memory use under control during long journeys. Scientific values, model detail and texture quality are preserved. Improved orbital path continuity in crowded views. Small endpoint seams no longer become large gaps, and rendering limits no longer cut paths short. Real mission endpoints and gaps in source data are preserved. Keep orbital paths visible when changing targets. Hold Paths to manage up to 32 retained paths, add planet, probe or satellite groups, and find individual objects. Each path has a stable color and your choices survive relaunch.
