AI everywhere unfortunately
I came to this trying to escape the capitalist hellscape that Pinterest has become, but I was met with AI content in every corner of this app. Even after toggling AI content to be hidden, I still see end up seeing multiple images generated with AI when opening the app. Maybe I don’t understand exactly how content filters work, but if the caption is explicitly stating the “art” is AI generated I do not want to see it. While I really enjoy the clean visuals of this app and the overall easiness to find credits to artists, the prominence of AI has made me hesitant to use it. When using cosmos I often feel a little on edge, questioning if what I’m seeing is real or not.

Disappointed
I downloaded this app because of the wonderful reviews I wanted an alternative for Pinterest but the fact this app allows all sorts of inappropriate content is disappointing. While it allows filtering and hiding the fact it’s there is a huge problem for me.
Better than Pinterest!
This app has significantly improved since I started using it a few months ago, and it’s getting SOOOOOO much better than Pinterest. My favorite thing about this app: no ads! I got off Pinterest bc I was overwhelmed with the amount of ads, and at first, Cosmos didn’t feel like it had sufficient material to be a proper alternative. But now, it’s my go-to creativity/inspiration hub. I love how it’s not “social” like traditional social media, and I really like the cleanness of the app. No link bombardment, just visuals that enhance my creative workflow.

All images can lead to anything, unexpected inspiration from any image that catches your eye. Brilliant for unblocking creative blocks. The absolute best are no adds and the library of content has grown significantly. Please keep aspiring to never be like Pinterest.

gosto do app mas na minha home só aparecem as mesmas coisas, o algoritmo é mt ruim! eu clico em várias coisas e salvo coisas que nao aparecem de jeito nenhum na home
Extraordinary so far
I’m loving this. The image quality is excellent. I love to make sections specifically in my boards however once I add to the section, it still says “0 elements” on the board.
I understand the elements are IN the sections themselves but it’d be nice to have the amount of saved elements shown on the outside of the board that the sections are in too. Because it just says “0 elements” and looks like I have saved nothing in them.
Also.. the “for you” isn’t matching my taste very well so far. It all seems very generalised.
