Experienced a bug or two, but an overall great experience!
This review is coming after my second Costar Fancast with Jeremy Shada. There are a few things I would like to address here and there, so let’s get started.
I happened to know about this app from Jeremy’s Instagram. Curious to see how it works, and as a fan of Jeremy, I tried it out. It was a nice conversation with him and the lady from the Costar team, with almost no problems regarding bugs from what I remember. I believe that little experiment of mine was a part of the 7th Jeremy Shada fancast.
Later, up to the time of writing this, I just finished up with my part on the 14th fancast with him. There was a bug I encountered that kind of bothered me, however. All I could see was the mic, camera, and disconnect buttons and nothing else. The rest was black, despite the fancast going on. I was still able to talk with Jeremy and a Costar worker, but I couldn’t see any faces whatsoever, even though they said they could see me. I enjoyed the experience though, and I thank Costar for letting me talk with a man such as Jeremy, and Costar let me know that they will try to fix the black screen bug I was having, which was my one criticism towards them and the app.
Overall, while there are a few major bugs here and there from what I know, Costar’s fancasts are a delight to be in, and there is a good chance I will try and join another one involving Jeremy later on. To end things off, I trust Costar will fix the bugs that me and others were having trouble with, and they have earned my respect as a company.

This app is a scam
I usually don't write reviews but I am. Firstly, they say to submit a question in advance when usually they pick 13 people or so to talk, and most of those people have done it alot of times. But they make it seem like your questions are picked at random when truly they aren't. I got this app because they advertised it as if 10 people were going to win a private chat with Jeremy Shada. When in true you were going to submit the question and maybe get picked to do a live q&a with him. There is no chat feature or anything when it's live so if you didn't get picked it's almost like watching a YouTube video. Also they said I'd get a confirmation email if I got accepted, they told me that I was accepted then proceeded to kick me out of the chat the moment it went live.
Secondly, their customer service is not great. They are not helpful and do not have a specified place to reach them, the only place I could reach was their Instagram and only through a group chat that they'd made, they'd rather kick someone of the chat then troubleshoot the problem. So please do not trust this app by downloading it. Heed my warnings!

Hard to use and I’m SO sick of getting notifications about the fancast ENDING and not when it’s about to start
