Well into the twenty-first century, prematurity continues to be a major risk to our newborn.
With the rapid pace of progress within our knowledge and facilities to care for the newly born. This progress is greatly hindered by the delay and difficulty in reaching the point of care.
CotFinder is a project designed to help maternity staff easily show the contact details of the hospitals within a certain region, highlighting the level of care and skill provided. Accordingly, it will arrange search results in order of relevance.
CotFinder provides a live database of cot availability in the surrounding hospitals, and the relevant contact details of both the neonatal unit and maternity unit within the hospitals. The aim is to make the transfer process more streamlined, by indicating the hospitals that are most likely to accept the referral.
Currently the database has been set up for the London region, United Kingdom. To set up new regions, please contact the Admin team at ahmed.zaima@AMZingSoftware.com.
