Thank you for the detailed report. The tags crash was fixed in the latest update. For collections, you can use the "Move to" option in the item's context menu to place a collection into a folder. When articles are added or imported, Couch downloads and extracts their content so they load instantly and work offline. Depending in the amount of items, this initial process keeps the CPU busy for a while – everything runs on-device, with no server-side processing. Once it's done, you shouldn't see it again unless new articles are added.

Increíble
Es una de mis apps favoritas: buena privacidad, buenas funciones, buen precio, ahora con versión web y extensiones de navegador (que todavía no pruebo), pero no tengo nada malo qué decir sobre esta app. Increíbles desarrolladores.
Super (bis auf Sync)
Die App ist wirklich toll gemacht und bietet alles was ich mir von einer Read-later App erwarte, ABER: Der Sync zwischen den Geräten funktioniert (für mich) leider überhaupt nicht. Ich muss mir deshalb gezwungenermaßen eine andere App suchen. Sehr schade, da Couch glaube ich die beste Benutzererfahrung bietet (bis auf Sync). Ich habe bereits alles versucht: Apps neu installieren, “Validate and Fix” in den Einstellungen, nichts hilft.

Hallo Gatto-Bello, auf iOS 18 und macOS 15 kannst du Couch 4 installieren. Diese Version synchronisiert mit Couch 5, es fehlen lediglich die neuesten Funktionen und Verbesserungen.
Strukturierung der Inhalte
Ich würde gerne die Sammlung nach Belieben strukturieren und aufbauen, was aber nicht geht. NmV ist aktuell nur eine (1) Ebene möglich, und eine weiteres „Verschachteln“ ist nicht möglich.

Gefällt mir gut, mir sind die Ordnungsmöglichkeiten aber zu wenig. Ich hätte gerne bei den intelligenten Sammlungen eine logische Verknüpfung (und/oder/nicht) und grundsätzlich die Möglichkeit sammlungen in Ordnern (und Unterordnern) zu gruppieren

Pro Kauf nicht mehr gültig
Eigentlich nutze ich Couch sehr gerne und von Beginn der App an. Nun habe ich meinen damals gekauften Lifetime Pro-Status verloren und soll erneut 14,99 Euro für das Freischalten der Pro Features zahlen. Wenn ich versuche, den vorherigen In-App Kauf wiederherzustellen, wird mir von Couch gesagt, dass es keine vorherigen Käufe gäbe.

Schöne Read-later App
Liebevoll gestaltete Read-later App mit fairem Bezahlmodell. Ich habe mir die Pro-Version gegönnt und finde die Extra Features wie AI-Zusammenfassungen super. Alles funktioniert über iCloud / Apple Intelligence. Sehr schön! Würde 6/5 Sternen geben wenn das möglich wäre.
Gutes Tool aber kritischer Stromverbrauch
Couch gefällt mir als Ersatz für bekannte andere Lösungen wie Instapaper. Der Stromverbrauch der App im Idle ist allerdings extrem hoch. Unterwegs zieht es damit nicht nur den Akku vom MacBook leer, sondern lässt auch die Lüfter drehen, obwohl die App nur im Hintergrund sitzt. Das Problem muss unbedingt angegangen werden.

Visually nicer than Goodlinks, and has nice collection options.
Unfortunately it is a bit slower when opening up articles. Hopefully some under the hood improvements can help it out.

Super Pocket-Ersatz für Apple-Ökosystem
Die Migration von Pocket zu Couch hat super geklappt und bei möglichen Problemen hilft das Entwicklungs-Team schnell weiter.
Seriously underrated
This app is modern, clean, fast and fully featured. The free version is already great, while the Pro features are a relatively inexpensive upgrade. The developer was quick to fix a bug I reported, and even shares his Trello board publicly, so you can see what he’s working on. It’s always been better than the Pocket apps, and now that Pocket is no more, I’d say it’s essential.

Keeps crashing
The app (Pro version) keeps crashing every 30-40 seconds on both MacBook app v4.4 MacOS 15.5 and iPhone/iPad app v4.4 iOS 18.5. It is completely unusable.

Ziemlich gut aber noch Luft nach oben
- Pocket Import hat gut funktioniert. Die eigentlichen Artikel müssen aber neu geladen werden. Pocket rückt nur die Links raus, nicht aber die Artikel selbst.
Dass die Artikel dann in der iCloud gespeichert und synchronisiert werden können, ist super.
- Ein vollständiger Export wäre für die Zukunft gut. Sonst liegen die Daten wieder in einem Datengrab.
- Links sollten noch editierbar werden, sodass man Artikel, die nicht mehr online verfügbar sind, von alternativen Quellen nachladen kann (z.B. Wayback Machine).
- Textstellen-markieren wäre noch ein unabdingbares Feature.
- Und eine übersichtliche Artikel-bearbeiten-Funktion wäre gut. Meta Daten wie Titel, Veröffentlichungsdatum, gespeichert-Datum, Artikel selbst (Markdown)
- Und ein allgemeiner CSV-Import für Links aus anderen Quellen wäre genial. Dann kann ich auch noch meine wiederhergestellte Omnivore Linksammlung importieren.

I’ve adjusted rating to reflect how far this app has come and how much I use and regard it as a stable must-have on all my devices.
Amazing job by the developers and a great and easy migration assistance from the soon-to-be defunct Pocket. It all worked smoothly and just a literal one-button tap and all items migrated over. Fantastic work.
The updates and overall fluidity, customisation, solidness, performance….i could go on but let’s just say it’s a no brainer app I always install on any and every new device etc.
It’s come a long long long way since I got in on the early adopter time and even then you could tell it was greatness in the making.
So developers, well done and thank you for this. It truly deserves its praise 👌.
