Silly app with no real purpose.

Initial response

I’ve just started with this app and I think there’s a lot of potential. A couple of thoughts for the devs:

1) I’d *love* to filter by rating.
2) filters by language could be nice
3) more categories would be nice. Things like documentaries, cartoons/animation, classics, sci-fi, fantasy are my personal important ones, but I know Netflix and Amazon have metadata for quite a huge number
4) an option to swipe left on all movies related to the one on your screen based on whatever factor is easy for you: genre, language, director, lead actor
5) an option for “more like this”

I’m an early fan, though. I was going to ask my partner to make something like this and I’m super happy it already exists.

It's a great app, cuts out the search time for movies and but has a chat so you can still banter with the friends in your group.

Good concept, needs slight improvements

It’s a good concept but some adjustments would improve it a lot. For one, including the summary into the slide without having the press the info button. If I’m swiping fast, I’m not always going to press the info button and so a lot of my likes are based on whether I’ve watched it before and the genre seen from the movie poster. I’m too lazy to press the info button and read every single one but if it were automatically included, it would improve the app greatly. Also the UI is a bit confusing. I wish I could see my invitations and accept or decline. UI design could be improved aesthetically as well.

Hello, I totally agree about the cards having more information and we will be releasing a version soon with major UI updates which would help users view more information while swiping. We are working on a version that allows you to accept or reject invitations, it will be released very soon. Stay tuned for the updates.

Not a single popular US show or movie

This product is not ready. Not helpful content suggestion, only Netflix comedy specials and the rest is Indian films. Seems like it goes through the entire list of same category content, not actually adjusting based on preferences.

Hello Sorry for the experience you had on the app, We add the newest movies and tv shows available on Netflix, Netflix has been adding a large amount of Indian movies/content as it is trying to build a larger audience around the world, we will work to make sure users are able to view content specific to their preferences.

No way to remain anonymous. Tons of grammatical errors and the whole thing looks shoddy.

Great concept, needs work

1. Gives you a movie poster and a quick blurb. Can also watch trailers. Would like to see who’s involved with the film/show.

2. Don’t make me harass friends to unlock Amazon Prime. I’d much rather pay you a couple of bucks.

3. Let me see the movies I’ve chosen.

4. Let me go back and fix a mis-click.

Very helpful

It’s great for picking out movies easier than arguing over Netflix. Would be better though if it was a broader selection of movies, as a lot of the ones that come through seem to be the same genre or type of films, and also would be nice to be able to remove matches that have already been watched

Great idea.. few movies to begin with but now new content is updated regularly. You can add different groups of people, like one for family, another for friends, etc.

Really unique concept..

Found this app from Redit. I like that the developer is taking notes form the users and improving the app.. at first the app had the same movies.. but now the app is updated constantly with new material.

Really amazing app!

My partner and I used to argue all the time about what to watch. This app is a savior. It saves the hassle of going back and forth on Netflix trying to figure out what we like in common. The app is also very user friendly to create different groups with friends to figure out a common movie/tv show to watch. I highly recommend this app.

Not really ready for public consumption

There is a very finite list of movies on here to review, and once you get through the list it just repopulates the same list every time you open it in a group. Out of 40 or so movies my husband and I only found one show in common...
