Over priced
You only get limited access to everything. And expect you to pay $30 to get full use of it. NO widgets if you don’t pay. Greedy greedy!!!
Why is the widget always days behind???
The widget is always days behind. Opening it does not make the widget update and catch up. This is so frustrating. I don’t think it’s always been this way. It used to update when you opened your event but not anymore.
Only 3 free countdowns
You used to be able to have more than 3 countdowns for free, (I had 5 at one point) but that changed recently so as good as this app is, I would recommend using one that lets you have more for free. I'll be uninstalling the app because of this change.

Why is the widget always days behind???

Times are weird
It seems that the times are jumping ahead for the countdowns. I have them set to midnight and when I save they jump to 1am. It just started happening and it messes up timing. I would contact through app support but it requires the mail app to be redownloaded.
This app is starting to get buggy
It seems that the app keeps closing out when I am looking at a countdown for too long. I have added more countdowns so the app could be overloaded and I believe this has happend once before as then the app got updated. I saw that the last update was 5 months ago, I hope this bug can get fixed soon.
Edit 19/08/2024: I would say more about this bug in the app but I can’t get the app open on my phone long enough to do so. I added more counters on the phone app as I deleted the iPad app due to the bug, but it started to behave the same way.

I would be better if it had custom and week days(mon to Fri) repetition.

The app works well. Nice design, and not complicated to set-up. I wouldn’t mind paying for the app, if it had more features. Not IAP’s though. Stuff that. It would be nice to have choices about which time scales to use. ie., To be able to show how long in hours, or days, or even seconds. Just for added functionality. Maybe a checklist of choices for time scales? The widget is also a little bit vague. Says 1 month, but it’s about 50 days to my trip. I need to open the app to get better accuracy. Not a big problem, but it makes the widget a bit pointless. Overall, this app is better than all the other choices I’ve seen. Especially the count-up timer, which is what I specifically wanted.

Just what I'm looking for
This timer also begins counting up so you can tell how much time has elapsed since the event. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. Just what I wanted! Thanks!
If Apple Made a Countdown App
Easy to use, very similar look to built in apps like reminders and calendar. I’ve downloaded probably 3-4 reminders apps and this is the one I’m going to keep. Also appreciate that it has no in app purchases, although adding an option to send a tip would be a feature I’d absolutely use Three feature requests: 1. Allow “all day events” similar to how calendar has all day events (pick default all day notification time in settings probably) 2. Let users pick what dates of time to use (ex: I want it to show checkboxes for each unit of time. Which would be especially useful customization for the widget as well. 3. Allow custom repeat (like in calendar as well). 4. Add custom and multiple alerts.

The app does exactly what I hoped it would do: it shows a time countdown widget on the lock screen! The UI is clean and simple.
The only improvement I’d love to see is a fractional display of hours remaining. E.g. when there’s 5 hours 55 minutes remaining, the app shows “5 Hours Left”. It would be great if the display was a bit more precise and showed something like “5¾ hours left” instead.

Good idea, poorly executed.
The app looks really promising—clean and fairly intuitive UX. Unfortunately, it is very crude in the presentation of the countdown. What I mean is this. You can program a target date of say 55 days in the future. Unless, you are actually on the detail page of this countdown within the app, in ALL other areas, including the widgets, you will see 1 month displayed as the countdown period. Meaning the app somehow rounds down the actual countdown period, so you don’t actually see the 55 days. This is a huge disappointment. If people are using this for a countdown, then most of us probably would like a more accurate countdown display.
