Feature removed :(
I love this app… except that they took away the ability to add it as a widget on our lock screen. Please put that back! It is annoying to have to unlock my phone and find the app and open it to see a countdown, when it used to appear right on the screen

A key function of this app is the ability to share countdowns with others via a link generated within the app.
The free download version of this app sends a link containing the shared countdown event, surrounded by spam ads to recipients.
I used the in-app purchase to upgrade to the paid version because it advertised that doing so would remove ads.
Purchasing the app does not remove the ads.
Sending a countdown link to others from the paid version of the app delivers exactly the same spam ads as sending a countdown link from the free version.
Paying for the app does not remove the spam ads from the shared countdown links.
Their claim of the paid version removing ads is misleading.

I love this app but the widget is gone as of iOS 18

Love it, but…
I absolutely love this app. Simple to use and understand. It had everything I could possibly need in order to know how many days are until Christmas. My only problem, and it is a recent problem, is that I no longer can use it as a widget in the newer IOS 18 update. I am looking for ways to add back as a widget, this app is fantastic and I cannot find another app like it.

Basic but very useful app
Is it possible we can have month and years please developer in the paid for version otherwise this app is perfect if you want a simple app to count down to life events like holidays etc…very pleased 😊

How to get notifications??
I wish you all could add notifications to this app. Maybe I’m missing something, but my best friend’s birthday is today and I didn’t even get a notification of any sort.
Location is Forced! Wrong Answer
Only >>> I <<< (me) decide if something like ‘Location’ is to be included in anything… OR NOT! I will never support being forced by anything of this nature to tell -me- what I’m required to include. Why?!… When an app like this SHOULD be intended for my own personal use and good.
Immediately deleted and completely removed this app no more than about 3 or 4 minutes after allowing myself to give it a shot… against my own good judgment, due to the fact that I could see that it already had only 2.9 stars out of only 119 reviews. I knew better… but instead wasted some of my precious Saturday on it anyway.

I don’t get the low rating - it’s simple and easy to use!
I don’t get the low ratings for this app. It was a no brainer to purchase the ad free version immediately. It’s easy as cake to use, simple and elegant, and does exactly what I need it to. My ONLY gripe is that it lacks a widget feature. If it had that, this countdown app would be perfect.
Great for flights in different time zones.
This app is just what I was looking for. It enables me to count down to different flights in different time zones. I find travelling through different time zones challenging , what with jet lag and itineraries using local times for landing and departure. By setting up multiple countdowns, this app simplifies my travel by letting me know just how long it is until my next flight, how long until I land, and how long until I take off again, which is great for multiple flights. 👍

A seconds option please
Please add a seconds valve for countdown. I need an app that will count down to specific multiple times to the second eg. [date] 13h21m32sec. Your webpage has this option. Maybe you can include this in an update please.

A Good countdown app
I’ve used many countdown apps, and I like this one the most, in fact I even use the timeanddate Countdowns on the website on my Mac. But there could be Things from the website that could be in the app. I would really love too see season countdowns And the other countdowns that are on the website make their way to the app, since some of the Countdown’s from the website are not on the app.

Good app, but…
Ironically, the timezone handling in the app is a bit broken. My phone is set to Melbourne (Australia), and the app is picking that up but defaulting to Melbourne, Florida for new countdowns 🤔
Not easy to use
Not only was this app not easy to use, but it wants you to pick a location and out of the huge list of options to pick from, there was nothing for any of the beaches in North Carolina that I could pick from for my vacation. It should let you manually type it in.
Not happy
I wanted to use the app to put on my pub Facebook group to show when opening again. Paid for upgrade so could use my own photo and find can’t use it on Facebook. Doesn’t tell you that when buying. Not happy
