It could be better
The ads are annoying, they take up 1/3 of the screen and I dislike the sync error always popping up. There are much nicer countdown apps out there

I want to love it again
When I got this, it was fantastic. After 2 updates ago, I lost everything twice. I offloaded and redownloaded. Still having syncing errors, despite being up to date and iCloud being on for backup.

I think this app is really good however, I cannot get the red iCloud not synced icon off of my screen. There is no way to turn it off. I tried contacting Support multiple times and didn’t get any answer. after paying for it, I was just hoping for a reply.
Can you please just make a feature to turn it off, as then, it would not try to sync with iCloud?

Something I noticed
The app is almost perfect except there is times now when you are in the app, it struggles to load when making a new date. Not sure why but that wasn’t the case since more than a year ago.
Lost everything; wallpaper not working
I used this app for years. Loved it. But I recently started getting a ‘Sync error’ message, whatever that means. I sent an email asking what it means; no response. Now all my events have disappeared. I was able to restore them from ‘Recover my events’ in the app settings, but I can’t get my custom wallpaper to work. They appear in the library, but don’t carry through to my event. And now I’m getting the ‘Sync error’ message again! Even though the latest update, which seems to be all about iCloud, suggests that’s been fixed. Very frustrating! I’m thinking things should have been left alone. I’m now looking for a different countdown app.

Why is Countdown Star the best? It goes five days hours minutes seconds and even months and counts down every single second. So crazy. Countdown Star is the best app. I totally recommend.
Mostly love it!
I love that this app helps me stay focused on all the exciting things I have to look forward to! It does have some glitchy-ness at times and right now I can’t figure out how to resolve the sync error that just started recently. I also just paid to remove the ads because they were getting annoying but $1.99 seemed worth it for how often I use this app!
Overall, I am happy with this app and I’m grateful that it reminds me that life is good and full of things to celebrate and be excited about!
