und bin mehr als zufrieden. Leicht einzustellen und was mir wichtig ist: die App verzichtet auf Tracking Parameter. Gut investierte 2€, die ich nicht bereut habe.

I had this for 1 years. At first, it would do what I promised making a countdown widget that you can display but with limited action and customization. But after an upgrade, you can no longer use the widget and need to be premium to have the widget.

How do I make the countdown a screen saver so it fills my whole computer screen every time I switch on my computer please?

Updated Review: I don’t know at this point how many years I’ve been using this app. All I have to say is that it has been the most reliable countdown timer widget for all my projects and goals that I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many. Highly recommend this app to anyone.

I tend to be horrible with time. That is why I've been using this app for a few years. To keep track on the important things like my child's getting closer to adulthood and my parents each day closer to not having time with them again. All my goals revolve around the time I spend with the people I love so I start with birthdays and then my goals. Love this app.

Everything I was looking for
This countdown app had all the features I was looking for - countdown, widget, using my own photos - plus the added bonus of no data collection, which is a key for me. It's simple to use and has a crisp design. I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone looking to add a countdown to their devices.

Necessitavo di una semplice app per countdown con annesso widget per il mio Mac M3. Questo Countdown è stata una piacevole scoperta. Semplice e allo stesso tempo piena di funzioni. Ho acquistato la versione Pro a soli 99cent, ne è valsa la pena. Speriamo venga aggiornata a dovere; per ora promossa.
Great app, fast service
I bought the pro version to keep track of an upcoming hike on the Pacific Crest Trail, and to keep me focused as I watch the days count down. It is really easy to use, and the range of stock photos that come with it to illustrate the widget are perfect for me.
One potential hiccup I ran into in case anyone else encounters the same. (it turned out not to be with Countdown at all, but with Sonoma.) It has to do with the widget colors "washing out" when the widget is not front-and-center in focus. I wrote Rob the designer about it as a potential app bug, and he wrote back within 10 minutes to guide me through resetting the widgets in Settings from Automatic to Full Color. Instant fix, no wait--terrific service and a happy customer. Nicely done.

Incorrect countdowns
I registered two events and the countdown was incorrect. I tried to delete and reload on but it was still saying the event was 1 week when it was 12 days away. Pointless app.
The Only app with customizable background image
I love the simple and clean design of this app with customizable background image. This is the ONLY Mac widget that I can set a custom image for a day counter widget.

One thing I really want is to use past countdowns on a widget to see how many days have passed since the day. I'd like to keep track of some events on a desktop widget, such as how old my little kitten is or how many days have passed since my important life events. I believe this would be a powerful feature, especially with the recent MacOS Sonoma update!

Simple app that does what it says. The one thing missing for me is integration with calendars like google or iCloud. 1+ request: create a large widget show more than one goal.
Nice widget, could use some more features
It would be nice if it give you pop-up alerts at the start of your event. Also , would like to make an event reoccuring.
my countdowns have disappeared
I am not sure if it’s only me experiencing this as of now, but all my countdowns have suddenly disappeared, there are a couple in the archive from the iCloud but most of them disappeared too or aren’t displaying

My event countdown timer of choice!
Clean, customizable, and unobtrusive countdown app. Attractive Big Sur widgets in the Notification Center as opposed to a menu bar app or persistent on-screen windows, if that's your thing. iCloud sync across devices is a big plus.
Very nice app
This Countdown app is one of the best I have tried. Its use is very intuitive and the design is clear. The widget is useful. The developer is responsive to questions. I would highly recommend this app and other work by the same developer.
