About

Counting of Omer is a companion for Sefirat HaOmer — the 49 days that bridge Pesach and Shavuot, leading the soul from physical liberation to receiving the Torah at Sinai. Each day reveals its own pair of sefirot — the divine attributes through which kindness reaches the world — and invites you into a focused inner avodah. WHAT YOU GET EACH DAY • The Hebrew and Gregorian date, with the day's number out of 49 • The two sefirot in Hebrew and English, with their meanings (e.g. Tiferet of Hod — Beauty within Humility) • The full counting formula in English and transliterated Hebrew • A practical guidance for the day, drawn from across the Chasidic tradition • A kabbalistic insight drawing on Likutei Moharan (Breslov), Kedushat Levi (Berditchev), Sfat Emet (Ger), Noam Elimelech (Lizensk), Bnei Yissaschar, Netivot Shalom (Slonim), Tanya and Likutei Torah (Chabad), and other classical and Chasidic sources • Real-life stories from across the Chasidic world — Breslov, Berditchev, Kotzk, Ger, Lizensk, Karlin, Komarno, Vorka, Chabad and others — that bring the day's avodah to life • Special markers for Lag BaOmer and Shavuot GLOSSARY OF HEBREW TERMS Every Hebrew term, sefirah and rabbinic name in the text is tappable. A clean glossary sheet opens with the Hebrew, transliteration, English meaning and a short Chasidic explanation — including biographical entries for the Alter Rebbe, the Mitteler Rebbe, the Tzemach Tzedek, the Maharash, the Rebbe Rashab, the Friediker Rebbe, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Akiva, and Rashbi. NOTIFICATIONS, RIGHT ON TIME Counting starts at night, so the daily reminder fires after sunset with the day number and the two sefirot for that night. Set the time once; the app schedules every reminder for the entire 49-day count, and a heads-up the evening before the count begins. VIEWS • Today — the home screen, focused on tonight's count • Calendar — month view limited to the active Omer months, jumping between years • All 49 Days — the full sequence to browse and learn ahead • Settings — Light / Dark / System appearance, notification time, and a primer on the meaning and customs of Sefirat HaOmer A QUIET, REVERENT DESIGN Warm cream-and-brown palette, classic typography (Playfair Display, Cormorant Garamond, Hind), tappable glossary links inline in the text, and a layout suited for a few minutes of contemplation each evening. ONE-TIME PURCHASE Buy once, count every year. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no advertising. Family Sharing is enabled — one purchase covers up to six family members. NO ACCOUNTS · NO TRACKING · NO SERVERS The app stores nothing about you, contacts no servers, and shows no advertising. Everything works offline. Your only choice is the time of your daily reminder. May the count carry you well — from the second night of Pesach to standing at Sinai again.
