Unable to sync

All the time it just loses the ability to sync, no one responds to on the help desk. Very disappointing

Not impressed

Not finding this app user friendly at all. Not visually obvious which challenges I’m currently in. Still not able to see own progress, stats or ranking, or team’s.

Random

Completely arbitrary points scores for activities.

Awful App

Non-intuitive placement, nonsensical organization, and difficult to see progress

Hard to use

It’s counterintuitive, hard to sync some activities and see how your team is performing

Great app!

We’ve used Count. It for our office step challenge, and the app has been great, but what really stands out is the support from the developers. They’re responsive, helpful, and genuinely care about user feedback!

Stop asking to rate the app

App is fine but every time I open it it asks me to rate the app.

Not very good

It suddenly stopped connecting to my fitness tracker and won’t load the tracker screen for me to resync, even after I deleted it and reinstalled.

Tracker

The app is not counting all my steps from the Apple health app. It is off by approximately 500 steps every day

Trouble syncing

In all fairness, it could be my phone or Apple health, but I’m pretty decent when it comes to technology. I’m having a heck of a time getting count it to pair with my tracking device. Kinda defeats the purpose to have to do manual entries.

Difficult

The app is not user friendly

Best fitness challenge app that supports both steps and workouts

Thank you to the developers that quickly resolved the bug I was experiencing!

Love it!

I personally think Count. It challenges are an incredible, affordable way to get co-workers talking to each other, and moving more. It’s work culture magic!

Would be 5 stars if it worked

I keep getting the error « invalid dates » I’ve tried multiple different challenge types

Not good

It’s supposed to sync with Apple and Samsung. When it downloads it only gives you the option for Apple and Garmin but then once you sign into Apple, it shows you a thumbnail for Garmin even though that’s not what you’re using. It also doesn’t sync with. My friends Samsung phone, he had to manually put in his stuff then once he got it to sync my stuff didn’t work. This isn’t even beta good

Doesn’t count all steps

It doesn’t add in all y steps from my Fitbit. It only shoes half the number I took. Have done all the trouble shooting and nothing fixes it.

Update hover positioning

Please make it so that counter updates don’t hover over the button to add activities — makes it very frustrating.

Inconsistent double counting and bad UX

Why running only counts as steps at 4 pts for every 10 but tennis and pickleball get 100 points per minute PLUS steps is beyond me. Makes no sense. Also the constant individual adding of the wellness activities is frustrating. Takes so long that I end up being on my phone more than normal because the app interface is not efficient. It’s also not an intuitive interface. Plus the tracker connection isn’t always correct. And if it misreads my fitness app, there is no ability to correct. All in all. Not a great app.

Response from developer

Hi there - I'm sorry you had a frustrating experience. A few quick notes: -> The points conversion for your challenge was determined by your admins, and was not the standard Count. It points conversion that applies to all of our other challenges. -> Crediting users for activity in "combination" challenges that include both exercise and daily steps is tricky, and we understand your complaint. The problem is we don't want to count both steps and exercise across the board, as this would dramatically favor people who do step-intensive exercises like running or walking. Our current approach is to credit those activities based on steps. We are working on an upgrade that will actually "de-dupe" steps logged during exercise sessions. This is a highly complex process, and I am not aware of any other platforms that manage it. We are excited to release it. ->We launched our "wellness goals" feature this spring. The original concept was that there would be only one or two "bonus" goals per day, so the need for "multi-select" was not apparent. Again, your challenge admins added more than 20 per day which brings up the need for more efficient logging. We are also working on that. ->I believe our tracker connections and integrations are the best in the world. Because of the multiple hops involved in any sync process, it's never 100% perfect. ->If you feel that Count. It misread the data in your fitness app, please contact our support team. Also, any data point added to Count. It can be corrected. Sometimes this requires a correction on the source device, but all data can be corrected, or at least deleted and re-sync'd.

Not user friendly

Too many clicks to get to the content I routinely need to use or to log activities. Having to type in start and end times for everything is a huge pain. Difficult if not impossible to see team standings.

Response from developer

Hi there - I'm sorry you found the UI frustrating. We've taken note of your issues. The only one that seems odd is that it's difficult to see team standings. Teams are displayed on the main challenge page in bright purple, rounded rectangles. Clicking on the team "icon" reveals all members of the team. Did. you see that?
