About

Most recipe apps assume one person cooks while the other waits. CouplesCook is built the other way around. Pick a recipe, turn your phone sideways, and the screen splits in two. One side is yours, the other is theirs — real tasks, happening at the same time. While you're searing the lamb, they're toasting the rice. When you're both done, tap your own side and the recipe moves on together. 200 RECIPES, WRITTEN FOR TWO Every recipe was written from scratch for two cooks and two portions. Ingredients are measured for two, calories are for the meal you'll actually share, and every step gives both people something real to do — never "hand me the pan." Turkish, Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Asian, French, Indian, American and more. Some take 15 minutes, some take an hour and a half. A caprese is three steps; handmade mantı is eight. Recipe length follows the dish, not a template. Every recipe is available in full, in both English and Turkish. Nothing is locked. FIND SOMETHING TONIGHT • For You — ranked by your diets, your allergies and what's actually in your fridge • Surprise Me — one tap when neither of you can decide • Filter by cuisine, cooking time, calories, meat type, or diet: vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free • Add your allergies once and those recipes stay hidden BUILT FOR A REAL KITCHEN • Everything you'll need is listed up front, so nothing surprises you mid-recipe • Big landscape text you can read from across the counter • A gentle buzz when your partner finishes their side • Cooking history, total time cooked, and badges you unlock together PREMIUM (optional, one-time — not a subscription) • AI recipe creation — name any dish and get a two-person version of it • Fridge — list what you have, see what you can make tonight PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. No tracking, no analytics, no ads. Your names, your history and your fridge stay on your phone. Turn the phone sideways. Cook together.

Cooking together is a lot clearer this time. • Your own names. The split screen shows you and your partner by name instead of "Person A" and "Person B". • Know whether to wait. Each side now tells you what the other person is doing — still cooking, or ready and waiting on you. • A progress bar across the top shows how far into the recipe you are, readable from across the kitchen. • The side that tapped is clearly marked, without hiding the step you are still reading. • Fixed: on newer iPhones the camera cutout covered the first line of the left-hand instructions. Finding recipes: • Calorie counts no longer break apart across lines on recipe cards. • Cards in the same row are the same height, so the grid sits flat. • Home no longer shows the same recipe twice in two different rows, and the featured picks now change every day. • When a search or a filter finds nothing, we tell you which of the two is the problem and give you a button to clear it. • Numbers follow the language you chose in the app, not your phone's. Thanks for cooking with us. Tell us what to fix next.
