About

Share a work folder with a colleague — and no cloud sits in the middle. Nothing is uploaded to a server, they never need an account, and they never see the rest of your data. Cove is one app that does the work of five: share work folders, send full-quality photos and files, keep your devices in sync, run professional folder Sync Jobs, and clean up duplicate photos. Light, fast, no clutter, no ads. Open it and start — no account required. — WORK FOLDERS: SHARED, WITHOUT A CLOUD — The thing a cloud drive cannot do: share one folder, and only that folder. • Files move directly between your devices and theirs — never through a server • No storage limit, because nobody is storing it for you • They don't need an account, and they never become one of your devices • Two-way, mirror or one-way — you review every change before anything moves — LOSSLESS TRANSFER — Send text, full-resolution photos, and any file between your devices with zero compression. • Originals only — no quality loss, no app-imposed size limits • Direct device-to-device over your local network when possible • Pair in seconds with a QR code or short code • A green "original · lossless" tag on every file you receive — CROSS-DEVICE SYNC — Your photos and notes stay in step across every device you own. • Sign in once (optional) and your devices sync automatically • Synced through a cloud you already own — never a Cove server • Fully usable with no account at all — SYNC JOBS: PROFESSIONAL FOLDER SYNC — The kind of two-way folder synchronization people normally pay a yearly subscription for — built right in. • Two-way sync merges both folders; if a file changed on both sides, both copies are kept • Mirror mode makes one folder an exact copy of another • Analyze first, review every change, then apply — nothing moves until you approve • Re-runs move only what changed — SMART PHOTO CLEANUP — Took forty near-identical shots? Cove's on-device cleanup groups the look-alikes and keeps the highest-quality original, flagging the compressed copies. • Recognizes duplicates even after re-compression • Runs entirely on your device — your photos never leave • Cove never deletes on its own — you review and confirm, and removal goes through the system's own recycle bin — A NOTEBOOK YOU OWN — A beautiful, iOS-style notebook that works entirely offline. • Clean lists, bold titles, tap-to-check to-dos, pinning • Everything saves the moment you type it • Kept in sync across your devices when you want it — YOUR DATA, YOUR CLOUD — • Local-first: works offline and stays readable forever • There is no Cove server holding your content • If Cove ever disappears, your notes and files are still on your device — WHY COVE — • Five tools people usually buy separately, now one app — one purchase, huge value • Works across all your devices, whatever the brand • No ads. No pop-ups. No sign-up wall. • Built to be stable and reliable before it is fancy Free for a limited time. No in-app purchases.

What's New in Cove

2.1.1

Your devices, private by design. - Your devices now form a group with its own random key, not your account. Removing a device really removes it: the group moves to a new key it cannot read. - Photos from shared chats are no longer saved to your Photos library automatically, and photos and videos you send to a shared chat no longer carry their location. - A work folder added on one of your devices appears on the others right away. - No more banner listing every synced folder each time you open Cove. - Devices find each other with Tailscale on, and folders with subfolders sync reliably between all your devices. - A device still on an older version is named, with a prompt to update it. Signed in with Apple? Link your devices once more: Account > Link another device.
