No Boost wireless

Boost wireless is a nation 4th carrier. Why don’t you include its native 5G coverage?

Awesome app. When's the next update?

WHENS THE NEXT UPDATE?????!!!!! 😠

Memory leak

App has a pretty bad issue or memory leak where it uses majority of the CPU. Must be quit out completely as to not run a mac or ios device hot.

When is the next update?

I see the last update was in July and have noticed areas that have updated more towers to 5G & 5Guw

Changing my review to one star because $$$

When you purchase this app they make it seem like you get all the maps in HD but when you try to look at 5G millimeterwave you get nothing and then you find out you have to pay another five dollars a year to get those. I wouldn’t mind paying the full price for both of those if you were upfront but you’re weren’t. This is childish and deceptive and therefore it makes me question the whole app in general.

Useless

Paid the $2.99 for the app, then tried to update to HD maps to so called get better views…….I GET NOTHING!!! Going back to Open Signal.

Coverage maps are not updated

I think frequency of Updating maps and by carrier is not that frequent as it supposed to be. I my view maps should be updated every 2 weeks

Caused iPhone 13 pro max to get hot

After installing this app, I noticed my iPhone 13 pro max was getting uncomfortably hot. I deleted the app and things were as before. Something’s amiss.

Essential Vanlife App

Quite literally one of the most essential vanlife apps to plot a route when service is needed for work, video calls, etc. Out of my entire folder, I probably use this and IOverlander the most. Cheers.

“Coverage” is fantastic!

This app is great at showing you a fairly detailed look at where you can expect cellphone coverage. It’s also easy to use and the support is great.

One last thing is that I first purchased this app 8+ years ago and it’s been regularly updated ever since with no additional payment required. It’s just been such a useful app with fantastic value. The developers really should be commended for the way they’ve supported their customers throughout the years.

Where are the Towers?

I find this APP totally worthless. It shows that I have coverage for both T-Mobile & Verizon here at the campground I’m at in Amboy, IL. My phone with Verizon has a terrible connection here and both of my Hotspots with T-Mobile & Verizon are useless. Yet this app shows that I have coverage. The App does not show where the Cell Towers are unless they are on the “Optional” $5.99 upgrade.

Response from developer

Coverage?, as described, only shows where the carriers claim they have coverage - it does not show towers. Many things influence if you'll actually get the coverage your carrier claims. That is outside our control.

I don’t understand why this is rated so well

App seems nearly useless. Just the stock coverage map provided by the provider. There are better apps out there than this.

Issue

Please add the 4G option back!!! AT&T doesn’t use 3G much anymore and would like to know where 4G is at when I don’t have LTE. Can you please make 4G an option again?! Or maybe a way to go back to the previous app version?

Response from developer

4G/HSPA+ for AT&T is still there - it's just now part of the LTE layer. But we kept it a different color (darker blue - check the legend on the info screen for the exact color) so you can still identify it. Unfortunately, AT&T is the only carrier with this distinction and there's just not room left in the UI with adding 5G & mmW to fit a unique button for it.

Great app. Needs 5G support

Would like the App to start supporting 5G as all the carriers are rolling it out.

5G?

Great app, but it’s time for 5G.

Not accurate

I got this app because I'm living in an RV. I hoped this would help avoid some coverage issues. Wrong. I paid for the app, then the HD map, both of which say I have full coverage at a spot where I have one Verizon bar. Save your money.

Useless

No directions except how to spend more money on add-ons.

Membership required after app purchase

Please be aware that the $2.99 app fee does not include the membership needed to use this app. IMHO, If a membership fee is charged, which I have no issue with as Chris & Cherie have done much research on mobile technology, then a free app would have been a better way to go.

Five star worthy - BUT 5G Maps - When?

Great app - used it for years. But WHEN will 5G specific coverage be shown? Even with HD purchased upgrade, now renewed for another year - no 5G yet. Developer’s web site says: “5G coming soon!”. When it arrives, I’ll upgrade my review to 5-stars.

Response from developer

We keep pressuring our map data provider for 5G maps - as soon as they have data we can use, we will find a way to incorporate 5G into the app. Thanks for your support!

Not Reliable or accurate

2 years ago this app was pretty accurate now almost every time I use it and go to a place that says it has att lte in National forest land I have 0 service. It says coverage places where they straight up is zero.
