The video function does not work!
It doesn’t matter how many times you two finger tap it. It does not record a video. Yes I’m in video mode. Taking photos with a tap of 1 finger works fine, but 2 fingers is a no go.
4K?
Why will it not take video in 4k? Also when you rotate phone to take in landscape it does video in landscape but only in 1080 and you also need to then rotate it to make it true landscape in the edit. Can you fix this?

Its been years and users are asking for the same thing can you atleast consider removing the red dot in video mode? We would all appreciate it and then you’d have the perfect app for covert recording, if not can you atleast give me a reason? App is a 3.5 just because of the red dot man, other wise it’s absolutely perfect

When I try to take a video by double tapping while in video mode, it instead takes a live video. Am I doing something wrong or is the software just outdated?

This app is difficult to use
I was able to switch to video mode and also to settings, but return from setting to the black screen make it disappear the preview window from the bottom and I can’t make it reappear again until I close and reopen the app. I wish you could fix that
I use this app to record videos in a really private way
But having the red or green icon so big and on the top right side of the screen make it so obvious to everyone that it stops being private and can no longer use for mysterious recording as those big icons red dot , green square make everybody realices that I’m recording and can’t be hidden , private or a secret anymore

Amazing simple and a smart idea but
If you could just at least minimize the size of the red dot then this app could be a 5 star as well if possible add backgrounds

Does't cover completely your screen! Theres a green light on top and you can see the picture you took on the bottom!
Can’t see the video in photo app
While recording a video, recording stopped due to insufficient iPhone storage space, but the video was not saved. As the document and data of covertcam has increased to about 5GB, it seems that the video is stored in the app itself. Is there any way to see this? This is a really important video
Stay away, there’s a bright green dot on the black screen
Not sure how this wasn’t fixed, but there’s a bright green dot in the upper right corner of the screen, letting anyone know that the phone is not of fact asleep. Save your $.99. Useless
Confusing
App works as advertised, only I noticed one ‘small’ problem.
After I take a picture or video, it does not save it to my device and I have no way to go back and look at what I recorded. Is this a bug or is there some kind of issue on my part? If I could get some help with this problem, that would be delightful.

Life saver
With Apple Watch integration can you imagine the possibilities e.g. car insurance fraudsters caught via watch, the possibilities are endless good work lads
Not covert at all
Aside from having a black screen. When I’m video mode, it shows a big red dot on the phone screen and a video preview. The video preview is discreetly hidden but that big red dot on the top right corner is a big Nono. Not really worth the 99 cents
