What's New in COVID19 Sounds

1.2.1

November 17, 2020

Time for a new version, with the new lockdown :) Improvements: - Time remaining is shown for each recording. - In case of failure, same data is reused 3 times before starting over. - Notifications moved as an opt-in button at the end of the survey, rather than be in the first view. - Handle failure edge cases gracefully, which unfortunately required a lot of testing.

Useless

Recorded my voice and location but didn’t tell me if my cough exhibits Covid symptoms. Data harvester.

Great Use of Tech

Excellent initiative lead by the University of Cambridge to identify alternative ways of monitoring the pandemic

Great idea

This could have big implications if it works! Submitting my cough / breathing recording was easy enough, but don’t expect a positive / negative result straight away - it’s early days!

Does this return results?

Am I stupid for thinking this app
Was going to tell me whether I’m covid positive or negative?
