Don’t Recommend
This is hardly a cozy game. There’s a timer. You can hide it from view, but your score at the end is based on how fast you complete the game. Medium is stoopid easy and hard is crazy hard. The controls don’t work well. Often it spits back a correct letter. Many times it doesn’t acknowledge that I’m touching and trying to move a letter, which slows my time and gives me anxiety. If you like competitive word games, you’ll like this. If you want something cozy, it’s not for you.

I’m sorry to hear that you find the game stressful. The daily level is the only level that is timed/scored, as there needs to be some kind of factor for scoring the level for the online leaderboard. For all 700 other crosswords the star rating only depends on the number of hints you use and not the time. I’ll take your feedback into consideration and try to make the difficulties more accurate.

A couple minor things.. I wish that we could select a letter and the box we’d like to put it in. Dragging and dropping is a challenge on larger screens. Also, selecting different levels is a little wonky. It’s hard to tell if I am in easy or hard mode.
