Pencil hack!
Playing on an iPad Air. First time playing the pencil worked fine, next time it didn’t. Looked into it and seen the developers say pencil isn’t compatible. But it’s how i played the first time, without issue. So there is a way. And honestly using my fingers for something like this is annoying. They really should fix this issue. But I found a hack!
The way I get it to work is have pencil off when I open the game. Then open the game from complete close, not just switching tabs. Open Flamey’s menu right away. Then I turn on pencil and use that to go thru the menu. If it works to navigate flameys menu you’re set. Once you get it working do not use your fingers at all! That will screw up the calibration. Sometimes when the calibration gets wonky I can bring it back by going into a menu and scrolling through that for a bit, or trying to hold/drag for navigating. As long as I don’t touch the screen with my fingers I don’t run into issues. Though I do sometimes get issue if I place my other hand on the back of my iPad which I find very weird.
Also, not sure if it makes a diff but I use a off brand pencil not the Apple Pencil.

Wonderful game just in need of minor changes
I love this game. I play it almost daily. The art work is beautiful and the story is really cute. Definitely cozy and something to play to pass some time. The game concept is easy and isn’t to hard to get started. The issue I am running into is having to look up how to achieve some of the quests. I am currently on day 11, not to far into the game and had to look up on other resources how to get what I needed. I definitely think there should be a hint option or a better guide in the beginning (like a scouts handbook). If it wasn’t for me taking the time to research a lot of things I definitely wouldn’t be as far. I definitely wish you could play longer and get more achievements done in a shorter time period or get resources faster. Having to wait 24 hrs is a bit annoying. I don’t have the option to play daily or on a schedule. I do enjoy the game overall, it just need some minor adjustments in my opinion.

Love this game
I’ve been playing almost daily for a few months now and I really have enjoyed all the little stories the Bears on the island have. A lot of them cover darker topics that are a part of our lives, but it never feels ‘edgey’ or inappropriate. Seeing the island slowly come to ‘life’ while you expand and grow is very rewarding.
The devs already announced they were making a sequel and that’s great! I want to see more in this world. My only complaints are minor nitpicky things such as better searching in crafting menus, being able to sort the recipes by ‘new’ to let me clear out the red exclamation points, and things like that. I realize it’s too late to get such things for this game, but I hope they are still reading feedback to include in the next one. Definitely give this game a shot! It’s a very enjoyable game.

Game glitch
I genuinely enjoy this game and find it adorable. I love the story and the cutesy design. However I’ve been noticing a problem with my gameplay I don’t know if it’s happened with anybody else. Where half of my screen will not allow me to walk in that direction it does not respond to me touching it or my pen touching it my character is only able to walk to one side of the screen even if I click on the left side it walks in the opposite direction.I would play this game more if it allowed me to play without this problem. i’ve also checked to see if this happened on any other apps I had it and it hasn’t occurred on any other ones in my tablet response fine for everything else. which forces me to believe that this is something wrong with the app itself and it’s such a shame I wish it would get fixed

My nightly relaxation
I have been playing Cozy Grove for over 120 game days now. Yes, in the beginning it can require some patience. But you don’t have to play the next day, or even the day after. Its there when you want it.
I find the game play incredibly relaxing and straightforward. I do occasionally touch a spot on the screen accidentally and it sends my scout off in the wrong direction, but I think most of those bugs have been worked out. It’s deceptively simple and, unlike similar games, there’s an empathy to it that’s quite extraordinary.
I grow to love each and every bear, even the ones I was CERTAIN I wouldn’t care for. I never thought I’d begin to actually care about characters in a casual iPad game.
For those who feel like it requires too much patience - it does require patience, not just at the beginning. Sometimes you just have to wait for a character to give you something another characters needs. So there is patience involved. I wouldn’t say too much, however. And, without sounding like that person, I think the game has made me more patient for playing it. It’s not instant gratification. I’ve had quests last for weeks and I’m okay with it.
Thank you for making Cozy Grove. I sorta feel like I’ve actually visited.
