Weird sound

I used to love this app but now it has a weird scratchy noise after every beat. It has become a distraction so I’ve quit using it on codes. I’ve tried updating. It has happened on two devices. Otherwise it was a great app

Amazing!!

Every EMT should have this app installed in case you need it.

Just used it last night on a code.

Really helped the crew..

Falling quality

Have you used this for years and it has been fantastic. However now there is a terrible noise with the metronome I’m unable to fix, and every other user I know has the same issues.

Sound

Please fix the sound so it’s not scratchy. It’s sounds like a blown speaker and is very distracting and easy to get off beat with the secondary sound. It makes the app seem faulty.

Fuzzy sound?

Very helpful app but it’s making a fuzzy sound with each tone. I thought it was my phone. It’s the app. Why?

FAQ

What does CPR Tempo do?

CPR Tempo provides audio and visual cues to help users maintain the correct rate for chest compressions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). It also includes timers for rhythm checks after defibrillator shocks and for administering epinephrine.

What are the key features of CPR Tempo?

Key features include audio and visual cues for CPR compression timing, timers for rhythm checks and epinephrine administration, a log of resuscitation events with location services, configurable compressions per minute (100-120), and configurable epinephrine intervals (3-5 minutes).

Is CPR Tempo free to use?

Yes, the application is provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements mentioned in the description.

Who is CPR Tempo designed for?

This app is intended for healthcare professionals and first responders who require precise timing for CPR compressions and other critical resuscitation procedures. It aims to assist in maintaining American Heart Association recommended rates.

How does the app help with CPR timing?

The app uses audio and visual metronome-like cues to guide the rescuer in performing chest compressions at the recommended rate of 100-120 per minute. This is particularly helpful as maintaining rhythm can be difficult, especially when fatigued.
