It’s a great app and company! I really live their passport note! So cute! Amazing people! Great places and I’ve meet wonderful people! The stories in the note are so amazing.

It is hard to get helpful and quick responses from companies however Matthew got back to me with an App issue in less than 20 minutes and within 1 day had the problem all figure out! I will absolutely be a returning customer for pub passes to come!

Makes a simple experience complex and cutesy
The interface has no logical flow, the written content is a tangled mess of hype, the relationship between the app and the “passport” is unclear, charges appear without authorization, and the local contact seems not to know how to fix anything.
Bored brewmasters compete to see who can make the bitterest IPA and still get people to pay for it. This app makes everything more bitter still.
If it were possible to spit an app on the floor and walk out, that’s what I would do with this one.

Great App & Company
Just received my Craft Notes Passport; Wisconsin edition in the mail today :) I love how there is a passport & app … I’m so excited to use both the app & passport for the first time. The Craft Notes team has been great to work with! Highly recommend. I also love that there are portions of the app that don’t require a membership 🙌🏻 Great way to try the product first.

The app for beer lovers everywhere!
I enjoy using my paper passport to explore new breweries around the Twin Cities but this app unlocks even more places to go! Places that I typically don’t see in other passport type programs!

We’ve loved using craft notes to explore places we hadn’t even heard about! It’s hard to get used to the $15/mo subscription idea at first, but if you go to even 2 breweries that cost is already covered and after that it’s completely free beers! Super great idea
Must have for beer fans
If you are a craft brew nerd living in MN it WI, this app is simply the best. The passports make great gifts, and the app has helped us find so many fun spots around the state. I also love learning about the brewers and how they contribute to local communities. Their suggestions for activities around breweries also help make mini-vacations for us to get over the work week blues. Highly recommend!

No way to filter map/list to Passport venues only. Activation code w/ Passport purchase doesn’t unlock anything - you sign up for a membership of some kind and get a discount, even though the app card that came Passports in mail says “45 day trial card”.
Also, Passport isn’t that great unless your hobby is craft beer (tons of breweries missing), as opposed to just something you like doing occasionally. Not planning to purchase again.

No error, no message. Enter the code and it still asks for purchase.
Love this app!
I’ve been using their passports for some time, but I love that this is mobile. The selection of venues is really top quality. Great App if you like going to breweries and distilleries and finding hidden gems. Excited to see what they add next. Please add more places in Saint Paul!
Where’s the code?
I bought the passbook and don’t have a code in the back of my book the start the 30 day membership. Can I get some drinks, I mean help here?

The book and app are separate projects. You should be able to Sign In and sign up for a membership via the app if you don't have a code. The code was a promotion we did for the holidays (buy a book, unlock 45 days of the app) - otherwise if you want a card-code you can purchase one from our website (but easiest is to just go to "Manage Membership" tab in the app's 'more' area.
Love what they do, but the app crashes
I’ve had the craft notes passport for a while now and love the idea! It’s awesome to check out new breweries and explore the state. So when this app was announced I was thrilled!
Showing the nearby breweries works pretty well. I wish they would expand to show more local gems beyond the few in the app.
Unfortunately though, the app crashes every time I try to view my membership. Hopefully, this can be updated and fixed soon.
