Well it used to work…
I’ve been using the Create Booklet app with ease for about 4 years now, and never ever had any issues with it. Until now. Every time I try to print using it, it cancels the job unexpectedly after printing the first page. It’s definitely the app, I can print using other systems with no problems… so very frustrating.

Excellent app to print a pdf into a booklet.

Works well.
Using this app I was able to print a pdf on my phone as a booklet. Make sure that the “Pre-Rotate Backsides” option is set correctly or every other two page spread will be upside down. The best way to do this is to run a test case. And one bug that I noticed is you have to reopen your document every time that you want to print it, even if it appears to be open. Because when you press the print button and it goes to the print preview, it appears to default to the instruction document unless you reopen the document that you want to print. But this app did what I needed it to do so I’m happy with it.

Pre-Rotate Backsides
I have put the Pre-Rotate Backsides in both positions “on” and “off”, but the backside is always upside down.
Not easy to work with
Doesn’t give a view of the real margins. You have to print so many times and still it doesn’t come out right. Tutorials are not clear nor sufficient to succeed printing. Very hard to make it work with Word. Frustrating and disappointing and more so for that price.
A 1st class app
I frequently need to print WORD or PDF documents in booklet form - and reate Booklet has been my go-to app on the Mac for the past few years. It is highly configurable and flawlessly completes the task every time. But more recently, I’ve needed to create some of those documents when away from my desk, and on the iPad - and again, Create Booklet for iPad has become my go-to app. Configurable, user-friendly, flawless. Highly recommended!

Solved problem of pages coming out upside down
I attempted to print a document consisting of 7 pages plus a cover page, but when it came out of the printer in boiler format, half of the pages were upside down and out of sequence.
After multiple attempts, I finally arrived at a solution to the problem. Since my document was originally in Word for iPhone, I sent a copy of the document as a PDF to Amazon Drive. This addressed two basic difficulties: First, Create Booklet has a great deal of trouble actually finding your document unless you put it where the app always wants to look. Amazon Drive is one of those places, so Create Booklet doesn't get lost. Second, sending a copy as a PDF ensures that the pages will line up properly for printing if you have Pre-Rotate backsides turned ON in your settings. Once I learned this technique, my booklets have printed properly.

UPDATED REVIEW!
After restarting my phone I finally got the app to work! You have to hit “print” to see it change format! Was very confusing, but got it to work after an hour lol! Now I know for next time! The app does glitch a lot and moves very slow. Other than that finally getting to work it did what it was suppose to! Would love to see this app improved! Can be an awesome app with a little more work and improvements!

Upside down
Printed document Pages document and PDF. Both come out upside down. Used ‘Pre-rotated’ and it still print upside down. Can’t figure this one out. Very unfortunate as this seems to be a good app but there is no help function if this happens. Wasted a lot of paper on this one. Too bad.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. The test for your printer only figures out wether your printer does it's job right. Once you have selected pre-rotate (which means your printer does not print correctly) we do our job on any of your document (not on the test of course). So the app should work correctly, except for the test, right? Also it does not seem fair to give us 1-star for a problem that comes from the printer not us, it's just an additional service we offer to counter that problem. All the best Christoph

Wasted my money as it only prints from PDF files and no option to print from photo album!

Finally a great booklet app
After spending days trying to create a booklet on iPad Pages, I downloaded this app and printed my document within five minutes. It does what it says it does and with ease.
I can’t figure it out
Tapping “create a booklet” doesn’t work. I sent a support email and they said there’s a problem with quick access. Ok. Told me “you should also see Create Booklet listed or turn it on in in the •••” but it’s not there. “I should” they say… okay.
And when I try to just open the app and import something, the only thing that gets sent to my printer is the test page. So I don’t know why it’s acting weird.

Mit Zwangswerbung auf jeder zweiten Seite
Die App ist für mich unbrauchbar. Sie fügt auf jeder zweiten Seite Werbung ein. Was soll das?
Useless app
Keeps printing the pages without pre-rotating the reverse, regardless of whether I select the “pre-rotate” option or not. The app also restores back to the default template after every print attempt, so you have to reload the pdf again and again and again. Wish I could refund this rubbish.

.... das diese 4 Seiten Anleitung bei jedem zweiten Druck einer Datei kommt, nervt. Die gleiche Datei muss dann neu geöffnet werden und kann nur einmal drucken, beim zweiten Druck oder Teildruck kommt wieder die Anleitung im Druck.

Ohne PDF-Export ist man auf AirPrint beschränkt, was die Nützlichkeit doch sehr einschränkt.
Having a printing problem
The app worked ok to start with, then it stopped printing the first page of the leaflet, which is the last page printed, this is using double sided printing on a Epson WF-7710 workforce, I’m using the reverse side the other way up button.
