I’m a computer science and networking major. I learn about AI at school. The cost for an AI model to generate an image can cost from $0.001 to $0.50 depending on size and resolution. Usually higher quality costs more than size. And this price usually comes from electricity and GPU times. Some can go up to $1 if the models are specially trained for imaging and videos. This app is charging $8/month or $20/week, whichever poison is preferred. Let that give an understanding of scam and greediness of people rather than just dropping it to even a $1. $8 isn’t a lot for a month. And training AI isn’t cheap. But knowing how much this costs, it’s scam. Until I see a huge price drop, this is entirely scam and is better to just ask chatgpt (which only requires an email at your cost) to generate it for you. I’m curious to know what the developer will say to my response knowing my background.
