LOVE CREATIVEBUG HATE THE APP
The content is so great and informative but honestly the app is horrible. I am looking for a class I have added to my watchlist for the umpteenth time. You can’t even search because it NEVER comes up. As mentioned the content is great but the app is just so horribly designed.
Not Worth It
After some interaction, I decided this app is of ZERO value and interest to me. I signed up for the 7-day free trial. Only browsed for 2 days and couldn’t find crafts of my interest or within my skill level. I canceled the free trial before it was over and was still charged $7.99 for a month worth subscription that I’m not going to do anything with. Not fun, not easy, not worth it.

Won’t load. Can’t use.
I’m in week 2 of my 2 month free subscription. I’ve tried to use it over 10x. All but 1 time, the app never fully loads. I can open and use other apps. I can open Craftsy. But this app will not load. I have deleted and reinstalled. Useless this far.
Watchlist problem
I have started adding videos to my watchlist and then when I close the app and comeback later the app didn’t save what I had changed.
Nothing loads in the app
I have to use the browser because once I sign it to the app, nothing loads. The loading sign just spins and spins forever. The browser works just fine. Don’t recommend the app at all.
Website has more features and content
The website has a lot more features which include being able to put captions in videos. Why is the app also only limited to classes? The website allows you to browse patterns as well.
Update messed up landscape orientation scrolling
Now you can only see the class info below the video window a line at a time because the video window is locked and doesn’t scroll with the rest of the screen. This is very impractical and more than a little frustrating. Also, I can only use portrait in one orientation now and it’s not the one I prefer (apparently I like to use the my iPad upside-down/backwards). Please return it to the way it used to be!

Be careful
Be careful clicking anything to do with Creative bug. I have no idea why I was charged as I never created an account with creative bug. I did get a cricut and app through Apple which possibly took me to creative bug. My credit card was charged for 2 months before being able to connect with someone to cancel a membership that i unknowingly signed up for. I feel cheated.

This app hardly ever worked while having it, and the videos weren’t that great…

Creativebug app is well buggy
The app takes a long time to load. Filters don’t work and video often blacks out. I’m running the latest version of the app and iOS.

I love this it jsut needs more I loom kint and the class seems like u need at lest a basic idea of that ur doing
I love Creativebug classes!
I initially had issues with not understanding the app as it’s not exactly like pc version. The one thing I am having issues with now is commenting it throws up an error that my comment didn’t go through I have never been able to comment from the app is this a feature or bug?
Serious glitches

I just downloaded the app. Interesting projects for which I give two stars, but no more because I can’t get to them (see below).
1st problem: when you scroll down the page the app resets itself and takes you back up to the top so you can never see or access anything beyond what initially loads on your screen.
2nd problem: when you try to access a PDF it disappears.
According to other apple reviews both these problems were reported a year ago and yet the glitches still exist. Come on, Creativebug, show your customers that you value them and please fix these problems.

Useful but buggy
I just recently downloaded it and So far the classes seem great and very interesting. The production quality is great and there is a wide variety of topics. It very definitely seems to offer more than enough to justify the cost.
Cons: app seems very buggy. When you “go back” to the main menu, it automatically takes you back to the top of the menu which is super irritating. It’s hard to filter though topics so everything seems very muddled. I wish there was a way so see full courses in one spot because right now each section is scattered among every other topic. It’s very confusing and makes it hard to plan your watch list. I also wish there was a way to view topics from “start here”

The application won’t load on my iPad after the last update.

great content but i can’t access all of it. as i scroll it jumps back to the top. i think it’s a bug.
Scam
I see many reviews of people with same issue I had. Getting the paying subscription and not being able to access anything outside of their ‘free’ version. I even saw a developer response which requested the person contact them with their info to help them get squared away. I emailed them weeks ago about my issue with no solution offered. It’s been time consuming and the app isn’t very user friendly (I used the website when trying to access videos and the like). Overall, complete dissatisfaction with creativeBug.
