genuinely super fun and relaxing. just a simple game with simple mechanics but my only problem with it the way gems work. grinding achievements just to unlock maps is kinda lame and money grabby

I very rarely write reviews but this game is so much fun! This is one of the best game i’ve played. Only thing is: Bessie is RUINING my life. I’m fishing at the right spot, at the right time, with the right tools AND i’ve bought monster bait + the lucky boost…. Nothing will work. I’m usually really patient but this is getting a little frustrating 😔

Stuck in first screen
Hi, I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 26.5.2. The game gets stuck on the first screen with the Privacy Policy background. I can hear the game audio, but no buttons appear and I can’t continue. I have already reinstalled the game and tried different internet connections. Could you please help?
I Love the Game but some mechanics frustrate me.
For example, I have been playing the game since 2024 and I am now a level 12 player. There are certain fish that with no matter how much bait I throw I can never get, like the whale shark.
I’ve caught every monster at least a few times but I can’t even touch the whale shark or the different species of Sunfish and it’s making me think I will never get 100% completion for the D.N.A. Challenge.
The Gem system could be better. Very important items such as bait cost gems and I don’t have the money to be spending on buying gems for that. I understand needing money to continue bettering the game, but maybe you all could make it a little easier to earn them or give more gems for the ways you already let players earn them.
The difference between the XP you have to earn to level up is a little crazy. With the schedule I have, it could take me a few months to level up which is extremely frustrating considering most of the skills that are actually helpful are at the end of each skill tree. I got fully leveled up in the latest God of War faster than this game.
