I really enjoyed this!!!
I really loved how deep and emotional this story was. I’ve played this game multiple times and I’ve enjoyed each time. I really wish there was more to the story, but that’s my only issue!

I totally loved this game! I got it the other day and just finished one run through, im going to try getting to know the other characters, but I really like grant. the stories really interesting and I love that their in space. the fact that they go into detail about important feelings like death and sadness really resonate with me. although I wish the story had more detail and length, the answer choices also werent my favorite, my choices were ignored by most characters in the book and even though I havent tried other options I feel they would have the same affect. also, the part where my character would play a video game seemed a bit pointless, I get it tied them too the guests arriving on the ship but I wish it focused more on the actual character not a game inside the story.
All in all I really loved this totally recommended for the day dreamers and romantics like myself :-)

Great game,
but I wish there was a way to go like one choice back uncaps you made a miss clicks. I made a misclick once and chose the professional option and I had to restart to make it happen again.

As embarrassing as that rating is from high school me, for some reason this game/story still holds a place in my phone/ipad. Not sure why I connect to it so much. I don’t like reading as much now that I’ve grown but this games one of the few thing I can do a whole sithrough for. Thanks for the memories devs!

Coming back to this game is such a good time, years after downloading it and i can still read and play and choose which path and response i want despite having replayed it many times and it still is a fantastic read!!

I’ve read it several times. Each time I write down how it ended and compare to previous times. You will not find a better story or app on this App Store. 10/10

I remember playing this game as a teenager and loving it. I played the James route. It had a great impact on how I thought about games and storytelling.
Now, many years later, I’m a software developer who has built my own video games — nothing very impressive yet but I’m getting there. I decided to revisit this game, and chose Grant this time. Just as satisfying as the first time, and just what I needed to hear as I worked towards creating compelling narratives in my own games.
So, yes, literally a life-changing game. Beware to any young players. You might end up like me, getting so involved in the philosophy that you become a game developer yourself.

At first I could never make any real progress but once I got to all the characters I was in love. My brain has the liberty to give real life to the beautiful writing.

What is up with the horrible banner ads at the bottom of every page? I watched an ad as they requested and they're still there. Do you want me to try this book or not?
A story that I hold deep in my heart
I first got this when I was in high school, on my old iphone 4 many years ago (around 2014). I still think about this story every now and then, and how it greatly moved me. i love coming back to it every now and then. its been almost nine years and is still one of the most touching things I’ve read in my life.

This game is very simple and meaningful at the same time, not needed to use much visuals to create a sweet and calm story. I’m assuming there are more endings so I can’t say that you will get the same sweet ending but the journey is always worth it. It’s not like a typical romantic game, it felt real life story like it was possible. So Thank you to the people who created it. 💖💜💙

Creative; played more than once
This is a very unique, creative game. I’ve already played this game through twice and might even end up playing it again. For anyone looking for diverse character design, this game is the best I’ve seen (age, gender, ethnicity, +). It is a very meta storyline where the player plays a game within a game and has philosophical discussions about game design with fictional game creators (I swear I made that sound way more boring than it actually is!). The philosophical discussions are the best part in my opinion.
The only thing I disliked was toward the end there is one choice that asks the player to put in any adjective. I had such a hard time finding adjectives that worked! It would instead say it didn’t know that adjective yet. I tried about two dozen adjectives before I got one to work, which was very frustrating. Then, I decided to see how many I could get to work at all. I only found 4 words that worked, though I’d guess there are a few more. Maybe a multiple choice would work better here? Hack for anyone who is stuck, all of these words can work, but get different results: Honest, Profound, Satisfying, Perfect.
