Very bad experience with this app.

I have been using the CRED app for a while, but my recent experience renewing my Digit Insurance policy through them has been completely unacceptable. If you are thinking about paying for essential services like insurance through this app, do yourself a favor and pay the provider directly.
The Payment Issue
I bought my Digit Insurance policy via the CRED app. The payment was deducted from my account immediately, but it has been 5 days and the transaction has still not reflected in the Digit app. Because of this, my policy has not been approved till date. Insurance is a time-sensitive necessity, and being left without active coverage for almost a week because of a third-party gateway failure is incredibly stressful.
Abysmal Customer Support
The worst part of this entire ordeal is CRED’s customer care system. Despite their official marketing claims that their in-app support is handled by "people who understand your time matters", reaching out to them has been a complete waste of time. Instead of actively investigating why the payment hasn't been credited within their stated 7 dayswindow, their support executives just give robotic, scripted replies saying, "I will raise your concern." There is absolutely no urgency, no follow-up, and no real help

Response from developer

Hi Shubh, we’d like to review the insurance payment and understand why the policy status hasn’t been updated yet. Please reach out to us at pearl@cred.club with the relevant transaction and policy details, and our team will investigate this further.

Credit card payments

After the recent update I am facing difficulties making payment. Once I enter the payment amount and hit submit it doesn't load anything in the next page. Tried flight mode on/off, Reset network settings on the iPhone. But nothing works.

Poor Customer Support

Delivered a faulty product, return was requested the same day, pictures were uploaded but still delivery has not been arranged. What a terrible platform for shopping. Third quality product are sold on this platform now.

Not worth for high users of Credit Card

After using CRED for 4 months and making substantial amounts of payments for all my credit cards, I have to conclude that this app is not that rewarding for the hype it has been spoken about. True that the UI is providing a good experience but for any Credit Card User who spends more than a lakh of rupees as credit card spends, will find this disappointing. The only thing advantage here is it consolidates all in one place and payment is made easy. But EOD the high spender of credit cards are better taken care by the banks itself and there I found the rewards worthy. It’s a big learning that we continue to manage our cards on our own instead of accumulating in one place and facilitating revenue for someone with no rewards back, doesn’t make any sense. And for all this why sacrifice our privacy of sharing mail etc and after all these, it’s a faceless company as there no number to speak to anyone. The bot has an option but the kinda repeat questions it has been programmed with make you feel come out of support window. When a company is afraid to face customers with a calling in facility, it’s clear that the customers are going to suffer.
To conclude, it’s better that we manage our cards on our own and enjoy services directly from banks rather make someone earn money from our hard work. And this is just another hyped business.
