EVERYTHING WENT OKAY UNTIL I NEED TO CONNECT TO WI-FI CAN NOT GET IT WORKING

The ap is a waste of time! It needs to be updated or something?
Utterly useless
Spent way too much of my time trying to connect to a strip of multicolour LED’s. Ultimately could not detect any wifi connection and makes you input personal information for yet another service. The device was useless without app services. I would give 0 stars if possible.
It’s ok
It works well but it just takes a very long time to get setup and is very confusing
