Good game, interface could be better
Deal is good and random, no hint of deal bias at strongest level of play (as far as I can tell after a few hundred hands played so far). Interface is definitely playable but (imho) could do with the scores being first displayed then added to the board after the “OK” is pressed to allow a little longer to review the scores? I like that the scoring is displayed with two pegs (as in a real game) so that you can see both where you end and where you started for each score.
Update after a few hundred more hands (still against strongest level):
1. It would be good to have a lifetime statistic - I only see the stats for the latest round?
2. I can’t claim that the deal is actually biased but my observation compared to playing against real players with a physical deck of cards:
(i) the scoring on each deal seems generally higher in the app than in real life - loads more 20+ hand scores than I ever see in real life, most of which fall to the computer. In “real life” I see countless games where the highest hand is 10-12 - and only one of those per game. “Fifteen four and the rest don’t score” should be happening more often imho.
(ii) the computer almost never fails to hit a really big (14+) score on the back straight and especially in the last 10 holes when it needs that score to win. I’ve only seen it fall short a handful of times now over hundreds of games.

Best app with a caveat
In reference to a recent review regarding card distribution. I have to agree. I just played a game and had a double run on every single hand (in brutal mode)…. Statistically that is extremely unlikely. Overall, since the update, my average hand score has increased by more than 4 points. I’m loosing interest because it feels like I’m using a cheat code.

The statistics are way off
This games cheats. 12 games in a row I’ve been skunked or just beaten. 74% losing streak. I’ve played this game since I was a young child. I’ve never seen such lopsided victories

This app features ads for a sham retailer who lures users to click by falsely claiming products are from Nordstrom and Talbots.
Heavily rigged
Used to be a good game, I find it heavily rigged online however. I’ve been playing cribb for 20+ years, every game I play I get off to a flying start then get 5 or 6 dead hands and my opponent gets a constant 12 + every hand. I’m lucky if I don’t get skunked. Been playing for a week and it’s happened at least 10 games in a row. Cant be a coincidence!!!!

Ads are too long
Ads at the end of every game are a bit too frequent and tend to be very long. Some ads have a close button (x) that’s impossible to see. I’ve found myself running the game in airplane mode just to avoid ads, they’re that annoying. The game itself is good, not great… I play crib with coworkers with an actual board and actual cards, and in the thousands of games I’ve played in real life I haven’t scored a tenth of the hands over 24 points I have in this app. I know programming could be done to prevent this.

Best app with a caveat
In reference to a recent review about hand distribution and the developer’s response (that the difficulty level is related to how the app plays a hand and NOT about card distribution). I always play on Brutal level and the app on numerous occasions will lead with a 5. No one would ever do that unless they have no other options. That is very poor strategy. Why would the Brutal level do this? With the most recent update, I’ve notice much higher average hand scores for player and app which seems suspect. Very good app and highly recommended with a caveat.

Teaches and challenges you.
I used to be good at crib, but playing daily scrimmage has really upped my game. I can usually outplay any of my friends when we get together. I like the pace of a fast game and I like not having to deal the physical cards as I get older and less dexterous. This game meets my needs and then some. I pay not to have ads and it is well worth it. I've played other versions and other online card games, but this is my favourite.

I didn’t like that i couldn’t download a paid as free version and i didn’t like the banner ad telling me that I was using an older version, to please update, and then getting directed to an app download for solitaire. Bye

Suggestion
Add a feature: why not add a concede button to the ‘field of play’ so that, if one is being beaten badly, one can just ‘throw in the cards’, sortaspeak (Without a ratings penalty but giving the person leading, at that time, a win).It would save players a lot of time.
