Another IT stuff up by CA
Cricket Australia is renowned, in a field known for stuffups and bug ridden releases, for poor IT development. Usually it’s that CA gives massive $$$ to ex executives to build and release poorly designed and user-hostile UI that fail at peak times. The Live app is actually better than that but good luck finding match scores, it gets overwhelmed by minor leagues and at the moment (July 2026) you only see the front page posted games and when clicking on ‘more’ there are no matches shown. It’s not like the national women’s team in playing in a World Cup at the moment or there’s other countries playing internationals in England.

Terrible dysfunctional app by Cricket Australia
This CA app is absolutely awful. There has been no live matches scores or completed matches scores for several days. There is no method to make a complaint or give feedback on the app about these issues. In this Apple App Store there is a link for App Support for the Cricket Australia app but when you open it it’s a dead link.
I’ve sent 2 emails to Cricket Australia telling them about these problems and had absolutely no response. Not a good way to run an organisation that is meant to be fan-driven.
Can someone from HCL, who is the technology partner of CA please fix these issues?

Hard to find live games scrolling up and down and filters are poor.
A National Sport !
You had a pretty good app. Now it’s going backwards. We can’t review recent matches. The extensive but repetitive series list has gone. People are incredibly disappointed and the worst part is you don’t communicate, a simple but most rewarding business asset.

If Australia is involved in a game you can guarantee that this app will glitch. Just the worst app.
Font colour choice?
Great App but why are the not-out batsmen in yellow font colour? Impossible to see! Ridiculous choice on a white background.
Notifications no longer working
Normally a reliable app. The notifications have stopped working and I have tried removing and reinstalling the app

No we don’t have series. The least you could do is acknowledge you have a problem. This app was once enjoyable, nor any more.

For what feels like a couple of years now, I’ve used the Cricket Australia app and had an inconsistent experience with notifications. I’ve got notifications set up for teams I follow but they never trigger.
I was excited to see the introduction of Live Activities, but they also don’t automatically trigger. A real shame.

Great easy to use
This is a great app the only thing I would say is it would be great to be able to see players shield and one day cup stats. Having to have crick plus to read some of the articles is annoying. Overall really great
