What's New in Cricktomate

1.0.10

November 2, 2026

Your match, your eleven — plus a proper first run. New • A quick three-page intro (Explore, Scoring, Profile) greets you the first time you reach Home — and only once. Guests don't use it up, so signing up later still shows it. iPhone and Android alike. • Select Next Batter and Select Next Bowler now open with a short tip you close with the X — once per sheet. • The Starting Players tip now waits for you to dismiss it, instead of vanishing on its first appearance. • Every match remembers its own eleven. A squad that has fielded two different elevens no longer mixes them: Starting Players, Next Batter, Next Bowler and Update Teams show only the twenty-two who are playing, and Update Teams won't accept anyone outside them. • Captain and wicket-keeper switches in Update Teams now read back correctly when you reopen the sheet. • Matches started from My Squad keep their eleven selection even if the app closes — and if the app can't recover the full roster, it stops and tells you rather than starting short-handed. Fixed • Renaming a player in Enter Teams now saves properly — the scorecard shows the new name in both innings, not the placeholder from Quick Start. • If a player save is rejected, the sheet now stays open so you can retry, instead of closing as though it worked. • If a match's players can't be loaded, the match tells you so and won't record a ball until they're back — your existing score keeps updating in the meantime. • If saving edited teams fails after the sheet closes, the scoring screen now says so instead of pretending it saved. • Android: the welcome page headline no longer wraps onto two lines.
