Amazing but a LOT of flaws here
I might be blinded by nostalgia but I’ve been playing this now for a while and…
Although it’s cool, it’s missing a lot from what the original had.
Most importantly is some of these mini games don’t work. There’s a suitcase mission that immediately fails you as you’re in a cops “line of sight”
Yet you’re diagonal and not in their line of sight at all…. It’s a huge flaw.
The other things are controls. The buttons are very clunky. It’s hard to move around.
The timer is too short on many of the mini games and too long on the police evade missions
This is a pretty bad port.
I’m still excited to play it & I’ve bought the full version (before playing much)
And yeah… it’s a handful of Mess ups but I mean. It’s great to revisit.
Also the music isn’t the same… and neither are the sfx

Multiplayer could be improved
A long time ago, I discovered the original MS-DOS version of this game and was hooked. I only ever played by myself, and I downloaded this one hoping it would support multiplayer over iMessage, or at least with someone on another device. Unfortunately, it seems like this hasn’t been added, meaning there’s no way to play multiplayer unless you’re physically in the same room and have a phone you’re comfortable passing around.
The gameplay is pretty fun though, especially when you’re still learning how everything works. The UI looks amateurish and could really use some polish, but it’s still very usable and that’s what matters.

So glad this DOS classic has come to the iPhone. I was trying to download a DOS emulator just to play it! Such a cool game with so many avenues to steal, drive cars and even kidnap people, all in 2D. Probably been superseded by Grand Theft Auto and all that, but still an amazing game.

Ich habe das Spiel geholt um in Nostalgie zu schwelgen. Leider war das Spiel zu schnell zu Ende. Daraufhin das Spiel im Premium Paket gekauft. Leider ist der Inhalt nicht angekommen...

Ach, wie eine Reise in die Vergangenheit...schon Mafia am C64 war toll, und dieses Game atmet den Geist des Klassikers! Ich freue mich, dass das Spiel so viele Jahre überstanden hat und immer noch lebt, inzwischen sogar auf Smartphones! Danke Peter Steffen!

Just as good as I remember it was. Loved it on PC even better on my phone
Entertaining, great multiplayer
Please include option for larger city format. I believe the original demo offered a larger city. Also make the character move buttons able to be held down for fluid movement like in the original pc version.
