Can’t play at all

Feels like the game is forcing you to buy the “add free” option which I don’t mind having ads, providing they take me back to the game like normal. When all I’m getting is a black screen after a very delayed ad run time, it makes me wonder if this is a ploy to force people to buy from you. Years of fun with this game and this is the first time I’ve had to say something. Please fix!

Nice take on a classic game

I’ve been playing this for literally years.

Not too heavy on adverts, though after a couple of years I decided to pay them the very reasonable asking price to turn off the adds as they’d entertained me so so long.

If you like this sort of game, give it a shot - though you may find it requires a very different playing style from what you’re used to!

Not terrible, but…

The other game “Crimo Stories” which unfortunately isn’t around anymore was a lot better. The cases had actual narratives and the last one for that game was the start of their first story arc

I would play it more, but

While I totally think the lives/energy shouldn’t be dropped so hard and fast, my biggest issue is the way a mistake registers, with a hit that’s worse than an Operation buzz. And yes, I turned off sound and haptics, but it still hits so suddenly and violently that I don’t want to play.

Here’s The Real Crime…

The “crime” part of the game is nothing more than a time-wasting facade for a number cross-grid strategy game, similar to a nonogram. I actually enjoy that part of the game, and find it more visually appealing than most nonogram games. However, this is the ONLY game I’ve ever encountered where you’re essentially required to pay for and utilize boosters to complete levels. You even have to pay for cones just to block off empty squares - it’s like paying to place each individual “X” in a nonogram!! All boosters must be purchased with cash, and, it’s also the only game I’ve ever encountered where not a single reward is granted throughout the entire lifecycle of the game! So you never get anything in return for playing, paying, etc. There’s no opportunity to earn any bonuses, no booster videos. Nothing. It’s an absolute scam, and it’s the only real “crime” here.

Is CRIMO free to play?

Yes, CRIMO is completely free to play. However, it offers virtual currency that can be purchased with real money for in-game items such as extra lives, health boosters, or instant analyses. You can disable in-app purchases in your device's settings if you prefer not to use this feature.

How does the puzzle mechanic work in CRIMO?
