Best coffee
It sounds so cavalier to say it’s the best, having only had coffee where I had to put something else in to cover the taste of coffee, and then having something so good, all I want is to taste the coffee… well, it’s that good!
Mobile ordering only
Mobile ordering works as expected. Drinks made with mobile order are always old. There is no reward bonus worthwhile for having the app

App is fine but the order readiness is not accurate. Also, calorie info is not there and neither is full nutritional and ingredient info.

Love crimson cup. Would be nice if you could earn rewards while placing an order IN STORE. Currently you only earn rewards if you remember to place your order in the app before arriving!
Very convenient app for a great service
This is my local neighborhood coffee shop and my go-to for coffee. The app makes it very convenient to order your coffee and drinks and pick up it in store or via the drive thru. You can also earn points to redeem rewards.
Love the app. Would love to use at counter.

Great cafe, disappointing app
I love the Crimson Cup, but this review isn’t about the cafe. It’s about the app. There are both pros and cons, but I’m going to list the cons first:
* Does not list all syrups in list of optional customizations. This means you CANNOT purchase certain drinks through the app - and unfortunately, the app is the only way you can earn points.
* No option to distinguish between drive through orders and in-store pickups - this really matters since you can’t earn points if you purchase at the register, only if you use the app. If you use the app while in the store, you must either personally let the staff know it’s for you or write that info into a notes-to-the-barista submission form at checkout.
* It makes you pick your location and time of pickup twice - once before you add items to your order and once again before checking out.
The first two flaws are significant enough for me to dislike the app. However, there are also some nice aspects of it:
* Beautiful photos of menu items
* Well-organized menu
* Stays up-to-date with seasonal options in a way that some other places’ menu apps do not
It’s still worth getting the app to earn points if you come regularly (which you should - again, the cafe itself is great).

I absolutely love Crimson cup, and believe in supporting local. The staff is amazing.!
Not user friendly
I have so many gift cards as teacher gifts and I uploaded them all to the app like I do with Starbucks. With this app I can NOT combine my gift cards with each other, I can NOT use my gift cards in the store since they are on my app. I CAN ONLY USE THEM when ordering through the app. I strongly advise anyone to not upload any gift cards onto this app. I have about 10 with balances remaining of ~.50-$3.00. So frustrating!

The app is stupid
..because it can’t be used in-store for points. Like every other coffee/food ordering app in the entire app-verse, there’s no bar code to scan for orders made in the actual cafe. This is per your own employees who are just as baffled as to why it only works on pre-orders at the drive thru. PREorders only! If you walk in or drive up, sorry, no points! Hello developers, maybe check out every competitors’ apps that have barcodes to scan with ANY order. Guess I’ll just get a table and order from there next time. If I go back. Totally stupid and useless.

Love this place!
We usually go through the drive through, but we needed breakfast today, so I downloaded the app. It seems we got a free beverage for using the app for the first time, which is a bonus. I love the Clintonville location, the baristas are always friendly and kind. The food and coffee are great, too!
