Doesn’t work

Game constantly crashes when I try to open it. That’s it.

Not working

I purchased this game because it looked good and the screen comes up and shuts down! A waste of my money, please help!!!

Abandoned project is seems

Under IOS 16, options don’t fully work - unable to change any of the in-game audio selections. Sadly a potential fun experience ends before it really starts.

No Sound

This game has no sound at all; no sfx, music or ambient background.

Great rpg

This is such an awesome game! Has some balancing issues though. It’s really challenging at first, but at a certain point, once you open up the rest of the world, it’s easy to become way over powered. I kind of enjoyed flying through the back half of the game just to finish the story. I guess you can always just limit your equipment use if you want more difficulty. Either way, definitely worth pushing through the beginning to enjoy the whole game.

Disappointing

Just as well it was inexpensive. Seemed ok. Pity though as the sound is real dodgy. It cuts out when you load a game.
I’ve got a iPad pro. Wouldn’t recommend.

Would be 5 stars.

Can't find the virtual pad option. I never played spam tap to play and never will. Shame people make retro based games with new age controls.

Fun game but it does not save your progress correctly

Sometimes it saves, but not always. The auto save also only works some of the time. Might be a compatibility thing with the new IOS but when it works, it’s a fun game!

Incredibly funny !

It’s an amazing game, way more polished than one would think, and very, very funny!

Can’t put it down !!!

Unfinished potential

A game with a lot of potential, not the worst writing but suffering from a range of terrible issues which make it unplayable.

1. Saves don’t get saved. This alone should keep you away for good.

2. Character handling, and the feel of the game feels very unfinished and unpolished.

Let me explain that one. There is a certain slickness in how your character should handle, defined in this genre ages ago. This one feels like it was outsourced to a game developer with no real background in final fantasy-like games this one is trying to emulate.

3. The graphics - although seems like decent craftsmanship - doesn’t scale for modern smart phones resolution. Everything looks like you’re staring at an ant farm full of Zelda/FF - dresses ants.

4. The UI. Looks like a budget issue more then a UI. Completely stylistically detached from the game itself, and quite unresponsive, and I don’t have a case of chunky fingers.

In sum - there’s so many great pixel art games out there with fantastic writing and polished gameplay, this one looks more like a very early prototype than one of them.

Avoid. 1 star, for the pixel artist effort and a few chuckles you get before realizing how totally unfinished and broken this game is.

Just finished it, great game

If you like the old school rpgs, like you’d see on SNES or PS1, you’re sure to enjoy this.
I really liked it... it’s no final fantasy, but it’s entertaining and humour adds a nice touch to the battles.

Crashes on iPod 5th Gen

Running iOS 9.32. Won't get past the main menu before crashing.

Fun and Engaging

I just finished this game and really enjoyed playing. It is fun and challenging without feeling repetitive. It is rare to encounter the same monsters more than 2-3 times which keeps it from falling into the usual RPG redundant combat trap. The story line is fun and brings the party into contact with the “other side” listening to the monsters complain about how hard life is for them as they just try to keep it together. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoyed the early NES and Super NES final fantasy games as it follows a similar format.

Came for the comedy, stayed for everything

This RPG makes me feel that there’s space for comedy in every game.

Same as other two star

I really like the game. The humor is nice. The game mechanics seem cool. The graphics are bit like which is well done. The audio is well done. The game reminds me of many good RPG’s I swear the beginning cutscene game me an awesome vibe of great turn based RPG’s. I want to play this game so dang bad but it won’t keep my saves. First I was playing and saving both auto and manual then I did something else on my phone and the game reloaded and I was like ok start from the save but it was gone. I almost never play again when this happens but I really wanted to play this game so when I was playing again and had saved I exited to title screen to hope that fixed it but nope no saves again. I am upset but I got it for free so whatever I guess. If this was guaranteed to be fixed I would play again. That’s how bad I want this game to work. Heck I would’ve easily paid a buck or two maybe more for this game to work. Reminds me of Graveyard keeper. Such an awesome game but ruined by inability to keep progress reliably.

Fun Concept, Flawed Saves

I really want to sit down and enjoy this game from start to finish. The humor is excellent, the opening scenario with Echo was really cool, and I had hoped to experiment with her character abilities and see what all other spells there were that she could learn from enemies, but it seems like every time I save the game and close it out, the save deletes itself by the time I come back. Feeling like all the work scanning enemy abilities went to waste is a major downer.

Gave two stars because the tongue-in-cheek humor from the opening bit had me chuckling, but if the game won’t work for me, I can’t go higher than that :(

An RPG with heart

An RPG with throwback traditional elements that enjoyably doesn’t take itself seriously. Monsters are always having conversations, your characters are mostly one-dimensionally hilarious, and the situations you find yourselves in are great fodder for laughs.

Tl;dr almost got wiped, but was saved by throwing a fish at the enemy. 10/10, would laugh again

Hilarious Take on the Action RPG

Dilbert meets Pokémon meets Golden Sun. This game is fun and the writing is hilarious. There’s also some unique game mechanics (reverse engineering and specialty items) that make encounters never feel redundant.

And excellent game from a new developer. I highly recommend.

Monsters have it hard

This app cleverly depicts the plight of monsters experiencing existential anxiety. The choice of music matches the progress and battles of Echo, our heroine. The graphics capture the imagination. This app is great.

Feels like the great old school SNES RPGs

I love this game. It has that look and feel of an old school RPG. If, for no other reason, that would be enough for me to move it. But there is so much more to like about it. The story, the characters, and the pace are all whimsical and fun. This is what an independent game developer should be, when it comes to an RPG.
