Critter Finder: Wildlife ID

Your map is now yours. Dropping a public pin on a critter you found in your own back yard shouldn't feel like sharing your address — so the community map is gone. Your finds now appear only on the maps of friends you've given full access to. Friends come in two kinds: - Full friends see your finds on the map and in the Friends feed. - Dex friends see your collection, badges and points — but never where you found anything. You pick which one when you send a request, and whoever accepts can choose to share less than you asked for. Either of you can dial it back at any time; turning sharing up takes both of you. Also in this update: - Rebuilt Friends screen — search by name or username, see who's waiting on you, and find people through friends of friends - Your friends now live on your Dex page, with a badge when someone's waiting for a reply - Explore keeps your place when you come back from a find instead of jumping to the top - Leaderboard is still the place to discover new explorers worth adding If your profile was public before this update, the other public explorers are now your full friends — the same people who could already see your finds on the old map. You can change or remove any of them from the Friends screen.
