Quit working

This app was very helpful but it has quit working. I deleted it and reinstalled it but it is no longer finding my location it just keeps saying error.

CRNT

No longer works?

Information is Semi Accurate

My location is New England, Nantasket Beach, Hull, Ma. The wave height is often inaccurate, 𝙊𝙛𝙛 line, or not reporting. Last week the wave height reported to be 1.3’. But when I checked the Hull Surf Cam it looked like a live stream from Hawaii. It’s still at 1.3 ‘ today.

Tide Cycle Curve has Disappeared

Have used this app for 5 years but now the sine curve showing tide cycle won’t appear. Have deleted and reinstalled app on both mine and wife’s iPhones to no avail.

Tide graph missing

love the app for surfing conditions but most recently tide graph no longer displays?!

missing water temp feature on watch

app is great, but no water temp available on watch version???

Needs to be able to track your current location!!!

It’s would be awesome if you could have it track your current location and give you the closest report ! Would be Epic !

Wrong tide info

The tide data is reversed and off by hours. I looked at the next beach (6 miles away) and the tide for there was 1.5 hours off from the incorrect tide at my beach.

Does this work on iWatch?

Just downloaded to use with watch, but the app doesn’t show up. Seems like a nice interface, and I was excited to use it but I can’t rate this app if it doesn’t work on the watch as it states.

What’s the water temp???

Pretty good app to see what’s happening in real-time. However, the water temp seems questionable. I just checked Scripps and LJ Shores (they’re literally right next to each other), and one is showing 70deg while the other shows 60deg. Unless there is extremely isolated upwelling (or downwelling) going on, I’d have to really question this.

This is one of the few apps with ocean side stations near me

Pretty good design, and one of the few with ocean side stations near me (apparently not all apps have the same station lists!). Wish it would show water temp on the watch. Also, I wish it were possible to see a more condensed view on the phone (instead of having to tap through to see wind, water, etc). It’s not perfect, but seems to be the best app in the category currently.

Phone yes, Watch no

Simple, but works good on your phone. Does not work on the Apple Watch. Since it is the only wave app that works on the Apple Watch, this is of course disappointing.

Last update a year ago

Is this app still being updated and did the watch part of it (the coolest feature) ever get revamped to update current swell reports?

Clean and beautiful interface

Minimal design experience which I love. Everything you need is there and nothing you don’t.... well almost...I don’t need to know the swell direction in degrees general direction is enough, I wager most other surfers, waterman don’t either. Would much prefer a water temp report in place of swell degrees. Other than that great app.

Just Swell!

This little app really works. It tells me just what I need to know for my local break and it’s easy to add others I keep tabs on.

Like it when it works but rarely does

Doesn’t load information.

Surf App

It’s seems to be stuck at 3ft for El Porto and 4ft for County line ???

Good, but...

Developers need to write code that enables a father tide prediction than 12 hours. Then I’ll give 5 stars. Also, it’s difficult to find the settings (gear icon). It’s hidden in the upper left.

Needs updating

Great app that works well with the watch, but it needs an update. For the past few weeks, the app hasn’t updated any of my saved beaches. Still showing 10.8 at Dillons with 0.0 period. That’s not right and I would really like a fix.

What’s wrong with Apple Watch??

Hi
Everything work very well on iPhone
But on Apple Watch impossible to have temperatures of water !!
And with series 2 and series 3 ...
so thanks to fix that quickly and I’ll put 5 after 😉
