Read the fine print
This app started acting up a few weeks ago asking for my email addy then never being able to connect because their servers are down. And even though I had paid for a years subscription I could gain access or contact info. Stores have the latest April issue but not the app. Finally got further today only to have to agree to terms of service which I was surprised to find hidden within that you agree that you know they provide NO service for this app!!??? Lesson learned and now passing it on to those who might waste money here. Buy the printed magazine. Do Not waste money here.

Horrible app
I love Crochet World, but I HATE this app. I keep losing back issues, new issues are not downloading, and customer service is literally non-existent. Apple support tried to help, but I think this app developer is fraudulent. Not sure how I will keep my back issues, but buyers BEWARE.
Missing Monthly issues
Magazines load when they are available but the issue for March/April 2020 was never loaded in the app nor has the current issue for March/April 2021. It is available on other platforms. I’ve been using this method for a couple years because it made it easier when traveling. Currently I won’t be renewing in this format.

No support, access or ISSUES
I cannot access previous purchases using restore purchases feature. Contacted support multiple times - no reply EVER. Most recent issue is FEB 2020 - I renewed in May 2020 - it is now October so what is my $$$ buying - air.... Extremely disappointed.
UPDATE: I never received a reply from app “people” but I sent a complaint email to Crochet World publishers through Annie’s. I basically stated that this app was destroying their good name. Within a week - everything was working and all issues were available. Crochet World is AWESOME - because of that I am going from 1 to 3 stars - because they still need to find a new partner digital.

My app stopped showing issues at Feb 2020. What’s going on?

App quality is terrible. Select your magazine... wait forever for it to load. Then, just a few seconds later as you try to interact with the mag, it crashes. Not worth the frustration. Just stick to the actual print magazine.

Very unhappy and...
Very frustrated, since the update I can no longer get the app to open. I have 3 years of issues and also purchased the special issues and now I can't get to them. Have always enjoyed this app but am now out of a lot of $$$$ on a subscription I can't access.

I have been getting my issues of Crochet World through this app for a couple years now and loved it. Since the update on October 28, 2016 the app won't work properly. You might get it to open once and view an issue but after that it won't let you see any of your issues. I tried getting support from the website for the developer over a week ago and have had no response. I could have had the paper copies and the digital versions if I had just used the money I spent for a subscription through the Crochet World website! 😤😤

Disappointed with newest update.
Newest update crashes the app on my IOS devices. I can't get to any of my purchases. I tried to reinstall and it wouldn't restore my purchases. Then after I closed the app, the same crashing happened again and it won't let me re-open the app. I am very disappointed. This used to be an excellent app, whatever you did, don't do it to Crochet! If you can fix the issue please do.

Newest update stinks!
Since I updated on my iPhone and iPad, Crochet World won't open anymore and now all my magazines I bought I can't open! I am not a happy camper!

This app is only magazines, all the magazines you have to pay for.
Not happy
I enjoyed the magazine until I cancelled then none of the magazines were available to me even the ones purchased thru the subscription.
Hard copy only!
Nice publication, but only worth money for the hard copy. The app is the worst, the app support is terrible. Lost over a years subscription because I purchased for my iPad. Still cannot retrieve what I purchased nor get help to do so. Yet, the couple of hard copy's I have, have held up & still look nice after repeated use.

The 30 day free trial is a lie. Nothing free here. And it doesn't tell me how to unsubscribe either! Huge mistake downloading this!
Great app for iPad
I have had a subscription for over a year now and I love it. I can buy special editon and back issues. It's great.
Crochet World
Crochet Word is a great magazine if you buy the hardcover, but as an app product it is aweful. It does not download properly or easily compared to other apps I own. I would not recommend the app. Buy it in hard copy.
