Cromwell is a beautiful, brutally hard two-deck patience, now on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. All 104 cards are dealt across 26 tableau piles. There is no stock and no redeal: every card you'll ever get is already on the table. Build the piles DOWN in suit, send aces up, and race to build all eight foundations from Ace to King. One wrong sequence and a pile dies forever. Your one lifeline is the Merci: once per game, lift any buried card straight to the top of its pile to rescue a key play. Spend it wisely.
