Minimalist heaven
Best movies and tv shows tracker if you’re looking for minimal features, no social and no tracking. 4 stars instead of 5 due to minor UX quirks.
Has promise but not optimized for MacOS
Sleek interface. Works great on iOS. On MacOS there is a major oversight Iin that the core feature - being able to search for shows appears to be broken (or hard to find and I can’t find it). When I go to my watch list, there is a search box. There is no search box in any other tab. Core functionality that doesn’t work. I will gladly update to 5 star if this gets fixed.

A Hidden Gem
I’ve been on the hunt for an app like this for ages, especially one that doesn’t depend on or just wrap around a service like Trakt, where you need a paid account to truly enjoy the perks. Cronica is straightforward, easy to use, and does exactly what I need, including syncing with iCloud and keeping track of individual episodes. The only thing that would make it even better for me is the ability to export my data as a .CSV. The app does offer a backup in JSON format, but the flat CSV is more versatile and easier to work with. I’d be happy to tip the developer again if they ever add a .CSV export in a future version.

It’s great, but for me can’t replace IMDB only stand aside it
This is a great app, well designed, not cluttered and smooth. But I never watch a movie without checking the IMDB score. So it would be great to see that in the app. The other less but still important thing is being able to see what movies cinemas around you are showing like in the IMDB app.

This watchlist app is unbeatable. After trying countless other terrible options such as, IMDb, Letterboxd, and more bloated + clunky apps, Cronica stands out in comparison. It focuses simply on what matters: tracking your Movies and TV Shows. Anything beyond that is pointless. This app is everything a watchlist manager should be and it’s the only one that doesn’t insult your intelligence.

Pretty Good. Couple of Suggestions
It’s pretty good. I do have one feature request and one ~fix.
Feature: Can you add the option to keep a series off the watch list until the entire season is available? I hate watching one episode per week and would rather wait until the whole season or miniseries is fully available.
Fix: Can you automatically focus the search field when the search menu item is tapped? That would bring up the keyboard and make the whole process quicker and easier.
Fix: When you are on a search result page, tapping the search menu item should take you back to the top-level search page, IMO. Other apps do this and it’s nice.
Great app otherwise. Keep up the good work!

Can’t wait anything from the app lol
So this app is essentially the same thing as keeping track of, manually, what you want to watch… separate to the app of where you can actually watch it. After manually adding a show to this app, and after watching it on…and from… say Netflix, you still have to come back to THIS app, to mark it “watched.” It does not interface at all with other apps, besides letting you add shows to a list (like Notepad, or any other manual list, would do).

Great app
I love that this app works with all my Apple Devices. I only have 2 requests.
