Good but when I found out that this used AI
I’ve always loved fire maple games but when I found out this game had some AI in it I was actually really disappointed. I also noticed that some of the graphics were low quality and I think they could be better but I don’t know if developer was rushed to get this out.

Beautiful world
One of the most beautiful immersive worlds I’ve encountered in a game
Trash AI art ruins a classic series
The AI characters are unnecessary and horrible
Simple
I enjoyed the story, that was about it. It’s nothing I’d recommend to anyone, especially someone who is looking for a game of this type that wants it to keep pace. It moves pretty slow and the graphics & UI are extremely basic. There are a lot of higher quality games in the App Store that cost the same and are more challenging and visibly appealing. This app could have passed back in the days of the original iPad, but it’s in rough shape compared to others.

Great
A great game, new puzzles await!
This game made me buy buy a lottery ticket and I won millions
I was broke and this game popped up and I got it and I dropped my phone while playing this game at a gas station and hit my head on the ticket vendor thing and I bought a ticket and I won millions and got married to ten different women thank you fire maple
Crookhaven
Great game as always but, I missed the 9:00 tattoo artist deadline and now i can move forward, town clock is stuck at 9:09
AI slop
The game itself it pretty excellent, biggest thing that lost the two stars was the AI art. The characters felt uncanny and I looked forward exiting the scene to not having to have them zoomed in their creepy generated smiles. The story itself was fine but I liked the difficulty and found myself only needing to use the clues a couple of times, I felt as though the puzzles weren’t suit intuitive which depending on your experience with puzzles was fun, I can see how it would be frustrating for beginners. Puzzle wise it was a massive step up from the other games in the catalogue, but truly the art was disappointing and lost its spark.

Incredibly Upsetting Development Using AI
I’ve been playing Fire Maple games since I was a young child. I’ve grown up admiring the work and effort that has gone into these puzzles and stories. Unfortunately, the developers’ style has morphed to include AI art in a way that ruined any of its original charm. The designs come across as sloppy and nauseating to interact with. I’ve been a loyal fan for years, but this is the last I will ever interact with their content. To FireMapleGames: I hope you recognize what drew people to your games in the first place.

fire maple is no longer my childhood hero
Fire maple games used to be one of my favorite puzzle game studios. I played their first game when I was a teenager and had so much fun time with my family members playing together around one iPad, admiring the beautiful environmental arts. And I just can’t believe this game is what they decided to put on the market. Horribly rendered AI CGs that don’t even blend with characters and interact-ables… just looking at the crooked items, distorted houses, and the horrible resolution, I feel physically nauseous… I am really disappointed and I will no longer recommend this studio to any of my friends…

Excellent gaming experience
I've completed every Fire Maple puzzle game, and this one must be their latest release. Starting with Mystery Manor, which I played as a kid, compared to previous titles where you'd collect a bunch of items in your inventory without knowing where to use them, this installment does a great job connecting the clues. The gameplay flowed exceptionally smoothly, with hardly any major roadblocks. Hints were provided at just the right moments, allowing me to finish in just over two hours. However, the issue with this installment lies in the excessive similarity between buildings. I often found myself circling aimlessly around the town. Additionally, many scenes felt overly sparse—lots of textures applied but only one or two usable clues. There were also far too many NPC conversations. I hope future scenes can incorporate more interactive items. All in all, I'm looking forward to the next installment. I hope Fire Maple keeps making these—I'm personally a big fan of realistic-style puzzle games. One more suggestion: the in-game map can be overwhelming. Adding a camera feature to capture clues you want to remember would make it perfect.

Some of the old charm is there but Fire Maple Games has sold their soul to AI
This is probably the biggest Fire Maple game to date but it’s also the laziest and visually it has the glossy empty look of AI that is honestly sickening to look at. The characters look grotesque, the backgrounds are cluttered and have almost no interactivity, and the actual puzzles are far simpler than they have been in the past. The only thing which makes it challenging is how many screens you have to click through to get around and trying to remember where everything is.
Very disappointing. And if this is the amount of AI that Fire Maple Games will rely on in the future, what will even be the point of playing them? Nearly all of the charm and personality has been sucked out. Anyone could churn this empty artificial nothingness out.

Disappointed
I have been a patron of Fire Maple games for a number of years. I have purchased and replayed all of your games. However, after this one I may not anymore. I am so disappointed by this AI garbage art all over this game. I understand that you are a smaller developer and that comes with some challenges, but this is antithetical to being in a creative field. If the next game is anything like this, I’ll be done with these games. How sad.

MADE WITH AI - DO NOT BUY - Very disappointed
I really loved playing these games like the lost city and secret of grisly manor, so I was really excited when I found the developers made more, and bought it immediately. I was incredibly disappointed to open the game and immediately notice something was off, suspecting it was AI but hoping I was wrong, I looked it up and found a post on facebook by the developers saying they did in fact use AI tools for their latest two games. You’d think as artists they would understand how deeply unethical generative AI is, but no, here they are being lazy and profiting off a machine built off of stolen artwork. This is incredibly disappointing and I highly encourage people to save their money for games people actually could be bothered to make on their own.

Awesome
Great Game , Keep up , too many people in this one
Completely Worth the $ & So much Fun!
Love every scene, and tests your memory for sure-Fire Maple Games is my favorite developer, and this met & exceeded my expectations-Thank You!
AI is bad:(
I love Fire maple games and was so excited to play this one but it is just an AI jumbled mess. If there was real art or pictures or was just like the rest of the games it would be so fun and charming, but it feels bleh. There’s also too many nothing happening screens when you transition from place to place it’s unnecessary. Stay away from AI guys, it’s cheap and lazy and ruining the planet

Awful, should be free, in fact they should pay you to play it!
I found this game highly terrible, and not worth anything like £4.99, I want a refund really badly and am going to complain to Apple about how terrible and not very good value this game is, you don’t pay £4.99 for an ‘adventure’ game with only 40 minutes play time, that’s extortion, I found this game thoroughly overpriced and a complete waste of money, although the areas look really good, there’s hardly any actual adventure by definition in it and not many areas aside from the ones you start with, I like an adventure game with something to explore and a good plot, this game was not worthwhile, at least it doesn’t have audio dialogue so you can’t hear anyone giving it the terrible “shiver me timbers” terrible pirate voice! I want my money back!
