CropGPT Collect is HSAT's field data collection app for registered agents and contributors. It captures the ground truth behind our crop intelligence platform: real photographs of crops and fields, tagged with where and when they were taken. HOW IT WORKS Sign in, point your camera at the crop or field, and capture. Each photo is automatically tagged with GPS coordinates and a timestamp, then uploaded securely to HSAT for processing and verification. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Works offline — no signal needed to capture. Photos are queued on your device and uploaded automatically when a connection returns, or with a manual push. • Clear upload tracking — see every photo you've taken with its status (queued, uploading, uploaded), so you always know your work has been received. • Capture guidance — simple on-screen instructions show you how to take each type of photo correctly. • Quality safeguards — the app helps you hold the phone at the right angle and paces your captures, so every photo meets HSAT's quality standards first time. DESIGNED TO BE SIMPLE One job, done well: capture, confirm, upload. No clutter, minimal data use, and it runs on everyday iOS phones. WHO IT'S FOR CropGPT Collect is for field agents working with HSAT's ground truth programme. An account is required. Location and camera permissions are needed because GPS-tagging photos at the point of capture is the app's core purpose — location is only used while you're using the app. Your data: photos and their capture locations are uploaded to HSAT's secure platform.
