About
Cross Scan is the official connection card scanning tool for Cross Church teams. Capture handwritten visitor cards with your iPhone or iPad camera, and let AI instantly extract names, contact information, service times, and visit details — no more manual data entry.
KEY FEATURES
• Fast Card Scanning
Snap a photo of any connection card and get structured data in seconds. The app handles handwritten and printed cards equally well.
• AI-Powered Data Extraction
Names, phone numbers, dates of birth, addresses, service attendance, and faith decisions are automatically read from each card and ready for review.
• Approval Workflow
Reviewers can quickly verify, edit, and approve scanned cards before they enter the church database. Duplicate detection flags repeat visitors automatically.
• Bulk Upload
Process a stack of cards at once by uploading multiple photos. Each card is processed independently so you can keep working while AI catches up.
• Live Service Stats
See real-time counts of first-time visitors and faith decisions across the morning's services, broken down by service time.
• Multi-Campus Support
Tag each card with the campus it came from. Stats and exports stay scoped to the right location.
• Built for Sundays
Designed specifically for the speed and pressure of post-service card processing. Approve and move on with one tap.
AI & PRIVACY
Cross Scan uses OpenAI's vision models for card data extraction. You'll be prompted to consent to AI processing the first time you scan a card. Card photos are sent to OpenAI only when you explicitly initiate a scan — never automatically. No personal account information (name, email, login) is transmitted with the card data. Full details are in our privacy policy.
ACCOUNTS
Cross Scan requires a Cross Church team account. Contact your campus administrator to be added to the system. The app is not intended for individual or public use outside Cross Church.
