From one Sarah to another, thank you so much for dreaming this up and making it available! I haven’t checked back recently so am thrilled to see you’ve improved it even more since I used it to create my Facebook cover photo in support of standing up to the evils and injustices in the world. I was moved to create artwork with your app so that those who still think thoughts and prayers are useful in terrible times can keep that idea, but to also incorporate a variety of other ways to stand up to such things as gun violence, racism, misogyny, anti LGBTQI+, and more. One friend decided to use my digital artwork as the basis for an actual piece of cross stitch. Thank you again and very best wishes!

I like it.
A nice little app which has helped me with a couple of small Christmas projects. It does have its limitations, but it’s perfect for what I’ve needed.
Easy to use
I love this app, I have been using it for a few years, it enables me to design my own artwork which I love, I have tried other apps but always come back to this one.
Don’t buy this app!
The size this lets you design is like 2 x 3 inches only! Can’t do anything at all with that. Most words I type in don’t fit the screen. It is only allowing about 30 stitches wide I can’t imagine what you would create on such a small piece of fabric…? A pin perhaps? This would be good only for designing very small things. Very disappointed 😭

Nice app !
Finally, an app that works! It could be improved by allowing user to zoom into areas where one needs to refine. If the grid was adjustable to customize to your own size... would be nice. Also, if the fonts were adjustable in size... would be great! It's a very nice app !! Thanks for creating it!

Good choice
This is the best app I’ve found so far that lets us map out a diy cross stitch. The one big update that it needs is what everyone else keeps saying - let’s us use a larger canvas or choose a size. All the other extra stuff like frames, clip art etc are all dispensable. In the future it would be nice to be able to pull in a reference photo to work off of if possible.

Life changer
This app single-handedly helped me start my cross stitching business! It’s amazing, I’m only sad it took me so long to discover it.
Brilliant little app...
Helped me to create my vision, would be better if it wasn’t such a small area to work on however doesn’t distract from using and charting. While you can do backstitch detail would be easier if I could just draw the lines rather than tap between stitch ... worth getting
Spacing
Why can’t I type my entire needed pattern text and have it spaced correctly? I have to eyeball my spacing because you can only add one or two words in each box you create. Too hard!
Bigger canvas
Bought this looking to design a piece and could really do with a larger canvas space to work with - quite disappointed
No zoom, only for small patterns
Wish I had read the reviews! No zoom. Cannot even do a simple figure pattern with sizing that would actually be used on a project.

So much potential
This is a fun app and so easy to use. But it has a ton of potential to be an amazing app!
Great for small projects
I really like this app for small projects. Would be nice if you could rotate the fonts and images to portrait mode, as well as have a bigger area to create.
Fun, but needs some work
I’m enjoying this app so far, but immediately ran into problems with the lack of options to resize. It would help also if there were a “fill” option so that, for instance, the background color could easily be changed.
Can not zoom
I’m using my iPad to create the pattern. It doesn’t let me zoom in a bigger area since my finger is bigger than the design. Hard to use
Good but has great potential
Just used this app. Very difficult to design a pattern using your finger. Would a stylist work on an I pad? My fat fingers had a hard time with a specific design. Spent a lot of time undoing stitch placement. I would like to have been able to enlarge the fabric size, especially for counting the rows. Maybe the app has the ability to do this and I haven’t figured it out. I look forward to using it more and discovering its capabilities Thanks

There have obviously been a lot of updates since this was first made! There’s plenty of space, it’s easy to use and looks lovely. Yes there’s no zoom function within the app, but once you’ve made your design, just take a screen shot and zoom in on the photo. If you’re using it to create actual cross stitch designs, and you need a half stitch, just use the diagonal back stitch as a marker. I haven’t tried the print design to product function, but I love that as an option. I love this app and such good value for money ❤️

It’s not bad for itty bitty tiny projects! Don’t expect to design anything bigger than your iPhone screen
